Handful of people on the DD side of forums are speaking out about how recently(within days) can’t all of a sudden hit. Which I agree, it’s been a disaster the last couple days.
It's funny you said that, I can't stop people from hitting, I get that I'm pretty much garbage at this game compared to most playing but I know im not a complete dunce when it comes to pitching but the timing is horrendous for me and throws me off, I can't blame my internet because it works great for everything else. pitching is so slow I have literally forgotten the pitch/where I was throwing it, its like I'm throwing to a "middle man" who takes a second to finish the pitch if that makes any sense. its frustrating as all get out and unless there's some huge corrective patch this will probably be my first and last year playing this franchise unless the new system allows sds the ability to clean things up, the way the world is heading I'm not gonna hold my breathe. thanks for your reply.

I can barely make it 2 innings, the pitching is so dagum slow it's ridiculous not to mention the fielding is horrendous. I've never had more fun playing against the computer than I have with this game. I love baseball, been reading box scores since '84, I creamed my jeans when Nintendo came out with "Baseball Stars", I quit xbox for this game and man online is horrible. I had more fun with r.b.i. baseball online. Now I am having a lot of fun playing franchise and "Road to the Show" in those aspects r.b.i. isn't even on the radar I just cannot get over the horrendous online play, I guess I'm complaining because I'd rather play a human than a computer but the gameplay is so poor online if you aren't a vet at this game you truly don't stand a chance and what makes me even more upset is sds charges money for people to think buying a certain player(s) will make them better...I want to smack the [censored] out of the creators of this game, online play is garbage and predatory its disgusting. I've played madden ultimate team for several years and know how bad ea as a company is but despite the dda that is obviously in the game at least online play didn't/doesnt feel like a completely different game than vs the computer. sorry for the rant thanks for reading if ya did ya I get it "call a waaaaambulance" this garbage just irritates the [censored] out of me for the simple reason they have "loot boxes" so to speak-buying stubs=loot box in my eyes, I can't imagine how much money sds has robbed from people because said people truly think if they spend $20 for 24k stubs to buy Tony Gwynn or whomever will make them better the online game play is such garbage it doesn't matter who you have so I guess long story short- how in the heck do you online players tolerate the garbage gameplay and if anyone says there's no difference from online and vs the computer you are blind or work for sds. thanks.
I’ve been a dedicated DD player for the last few years but find myself gravitating more towards franchise and rtts. Game plays beautifully offline. Shame they can’t match that with online play.

I think they can but they won't!! It's all about money. If little(whoever lol) can't compete online they won't buy stubs!! So they have to convince little so and so that they can compete online which in turn makes them buy stubs!! No above average player constantly buys stubs!! IMO

Yea I find myself playing Baseball Simulator 1.000 on the old NES when I get frustrated. You can get players with super powers like hitting a line drive that spears the guy catching it into the outfield wall or actually hit a ball into space lol. Love The Show but man its giving me grey hairs.

same for the japanese game but you wont see many home runs .... maybe 2/4 per series...... you see more skill based players like in FIFA, guys who draw walks, or small ball, guys who are slap hitters, not just normal swing, or power... its more skill based of 25 guys...
