Just played someone in ranked seasons who’s record was 119-425ish who was a level 11 prestige. They had no XP reward path players in their lineup and no diamonds at all. They started a gold Padres TA prospects card on the mound. Two guys came out of the pen who were both Orioles bronzes. The only pitch I saw the entire game was a fastball. At the start of the game this guy took until 2 strikes every AB for maybe the first 3 innings, but after that he swung as early as possible as soon as the ball left my pitchers hand ,until he got to 2 strikes, where he would swing normal (which would be a swing and miss). Also every time I got a runner on he would slide step and throw down. This couldn’t have been a real person. His PSN is “idfhcm”. Interested to see if anyone else has had a game like this.

I played a diamond player who started with Hal on the mound and eventually went to...bronze Dustin May

I don't know if I played this exact guy or someone just like him. But I played a guy who was about 20 and 120 who took two strikes before he swung. And then he acted pissed that I was throwing too many balls and started swinging early on the first two pitches, then he would play the rest of the at bat normal.

he was grinding for online stats, not a record, more than you think do it. This is what happens when SDS requires online stats. I quit a game up 5-0 in the 5th because I got the stats I needed for a POTM program, and needed to move on with the next challenge. We each only have so much time in a day, and when we want to complete something, time is precious.

Maybe next year they'll address that.

Grinding in general is terrible online or offline. Prestige is cool and all but personally I’m not gonna grind a player just to get a +3 boost on his attributes. If I keep said player in my lineup long enough to naturally prestige then by all means but I’m not grinding and haven’t grinder at all this year

The majority of the community thinks you will need a certain amount of prestige cards for the collection reward, thus the push to get it done. They may be wrong, but I do see SDS giving awards based on the focus they've put on prestige this year.

Majority? I’ve seen maybe like 5 people actually think you will need prestige cards for the collection. If you do need them I fully expect them to be prestigable offline though because I don’t think anyone at SDS wants to hear the uproar from offline players. Either way, there is about a .01% chance you need them IMO. Most people want the prestige cards because on paper it looks better than the regular one, even though in reality it isn’t
