Just had an idea pop into my head when using meter pitching. Size of target area in meter can be influenced by location pitching to. For example, down the middle, easier to hit the target. On the corner, meter moves much faster or target is much smaller and harder to hit the target.

Combine this with control stat, energy, clutch, difficulty etc.

    Thoughts?

Good idea. Most people want attributes to determine how hard input is when pitching.

As someone who has always used meter but briefly tried analog, I would like to see more put into the way meter works. Pulse has something like that timing size so combining that with what you said about accuracy sized would be a nice addition. Analog pitching has more +’s than meter and I think the meter community should get some help for all the times we had perfect accuracy on a curve low and away and it hung for a homer.

I think when using Meter the more Accurate you are with location the harder I get hit so I try not to be to accurate, be just on the edge of the yellow to hit the corners, Using meter you have to know who the ball moves with the pitches you throw depending on the pitcher, Some pitcher if the have a weak slider there is no way you want to be accurate you want to be off of the yellow to hit the corner or it will wind up down the middle of the plate for a HR. You have to multipulate pitches to go where you want them to go if that makes since. I like it the way it is with meter, I feel I have full control, Just have to learn each pitcher I use and how there pitches move.
