The answer is: you can’t. Bad job on SDS’ part to introduce two way players into the game this year but not make it an option to use them in online DD. I was bummed about this

He has 1B as a secondary. Anyone tried starting him at first and seeing if he can swap positions with a pitcher after and essentially have an extra arm?

It's a shame you can't pinch hit with him. Or am I being dumb and you can?

You can’t use any starters as pinch hitters, and no pitchers can be started in the field. I don’t know if there’s actually a way to get him to first base. The only possibility I can think of is a double switch somehow, but I’m not sure how it would work.
The closest thing you’ll get to using him as a pinch hitter is bringing him in relief right before the pitcher spot would hit.
