The Ups and Downs of Ranked Seasons, but mostly downs lately.

That was just me was at 797 one game away from the championship series and then I lost 7 in a row, nothing would go my way what's, I finally broke that streak but it happens with this game just gotta keep going

Story of my season... Quickly got up to 740..dropoed at least 6 games... And now up and down from 600 to 540 and back... Finally got my line up to how I like it... So we will see..

I’m 78-48 (I think). Last year at this time I had played a ton. This year is something different. Have to force myself to play ranked and never feel like playing two games in a row. In years past I could play ranked all day (if I had the time).
I hope they scrap the whole ranked system next year and implement a main season mode with playoffs for ranked.

Ranked is stressful to me, my goal is to increase my rating each day, so if i win a ranked game i do not play another one that same day, i move on to events or BR or something else

Yeah, it’s a pretty stale setup right now! There have been some good topics on this forum with revised RS systems, like you suggest, that I hope get implemented next year!

Last year the game had its issues, but if you were the better player you could win more then lose. This year rng is over powering and allows the lesser opponent a chance to stick around.

I have never made it to WS only been able to crack CS a few times last year and then go right back down to the 600 level. I’ve only played 14 games in ranked this year. And I’m 14-0. But at this time last year I was around 120 or so games played in ranked. I see people complaining about how broken the game is in ranked, and we all see how bad the out field defense and pitching is...idk I like playing the casual online matchups better so I won’t stress out about my ranked points or level I’m at.

I just stop playing ranked if I’m sucking or I feel the game hates me. I’m rated 525 exactly currently but have dropped down to all-star and then take a break

Online play is laughably bad. I had a great streak the past couple seasons, made DS both times which I was happy with.
Between connection issues, MLB stadiums, and running into the same pitchers every game its boring.
Add in the unrewarding hitting engine and its just such a [censored] shoot. Makes me wonder why I even grind for better players when dudes with 125 Power are just flying out at the track.
Pointless.

Sounds like a strategy. Does it work?

I guess I’m just terrible now. Wonder how far I can fall, this is really unbelievable...
