I’m starting to lose interest in this game...

I don’t know what to say. I used to love MLB: TS.
‘17 was my first year playing DD. It produced a lot of great memories for me. I remember scraping together enough stubs to buy my first ever diamond, George Springer. I remember taking my team of silvers and George Springer into RS and having an epic comeback against 99 Orel Hershiser. That was a great moment.
‘18 and ‘19 were pretty enjoyable for me, despite having some major flaws.
‘20 hasn’t been the same. Even though I’m having the most success I’ve ever had playing an MLB: TS game, there’s just something not right about it. The experience feels... empty? I don’t know how else to put it. Pitching isn’t fun. Hitting isn’t fun. Winning isn’t even fun. The joy of playing baseball just isn’t there anymore.
I wonder if anyone else feels this way?

Sounds like you are just burned out, everyone needs breaks now and again

I can relate. I haven’t played in about a week. Eatyum is right, you owe it to yourself to take a break for a bit.
Games are supposed to be fun.

I go on stretches in between different games. Just whatever I’m feeling

I’m playing the tomb raider that was free. I just friended for potm Paxton, but that’s all I’ve done today.

I think this years game is much better than the last 2 years but I too just dont enjoy it as much. But I think it is more of a me thing. And also the control of what we do being taken away more and more. They have to give the players more control over what happens and stop making us rely more and more off CPU AI and RNG next year or I may be gone soon.

Just take a break, jam some rdr2 or knock off a game you've always wanted to play
