Designated Hitter

I would like to see the show implement using the DH in the game if it's going to try to follow the updated MLB rule changes.
-
Hey look, another DH thread.
-
I think they should just scratch the dh and pitcher hitting in the 9 hole. Should just be an auto out. I kid, I kid.
-
It's not going to happen in fact there is a post from yesterday on the show nation news section that confirms it.

They should going forward. Too many unusable cards because of their sub par defense compared to their hitting. For example, kiner, Sheffield, killebrew, Blackmon. Yes, there is strategy when a pitcher has to hit. But there’s also strategy to the DH. Especially if it becomes universal, they have to implement it

If they are going to implement that trash 3 hitter rule for relievers in the name of realism, then yeah, they should implement the DH too.

They’ll probably implement it next year since it’s going to be easier to program. But like another person said, they’ve already stated they won’t change anything this year.
Also, there is no strategy to the DH. You pretty much said it yourself, you just put a great hitter with bad fielding there. If you want to argue that it would make the game more exciting that’s fine, but don’t argue that there’s any kind of strategy involved.
