12 out of my 20 outs were PCI rating 12 or higher. Got 4 runs early and then all of a sudden couldn't get a hit... hmmmmm. Everything was right at them with a couple of well timed double plays. It seems like these final boss showdowns are playing on a dynamic level and the closer you get to winning they crank up the difficulty. lol

Unfortunately I Don't think it's worth the time to do these anymore.

I think they are worth doing. Complete every team to 100% reaps so many stubs and packs, you'll be loaded. Not to mention all the XP the Showdowns give you.

Yeah, this seems to be the trend for me too. I think they would be better at allstar difficulty. It is just too much random results on veteran. If I play a conquest game on allstar I will score 15 runs, but on veteran i might only score 5 with about 10 line outs... they should at least give us the option for difficulty to use.

I would rather swing and miss on Allstar than get a cheap pop out on veteran.

I just don’t get SDS approach here. They toned down stage 1 & 2 for people to “catch up” but stage 3 has been difficult and the moments are even a struggle. Once they get some user statistics I think they will nerf this like stage 1

How would they nerf it though? Put it on rookie? The problem with these is the missions are harder so you go in with less runs. The only final boss that is actually hard is Hershiser, you are just going in down 7-15 rather than 11 or 13 to 15 so it seems like the bosses are harder

I thought the strike out one batter moments were super easy. Got to Wood final boss with 9 runs and beat him with 15 outs remaining. Not as difficult as Showdown 1 was but not as easy as Showdown 2. Felt just right.

I honestly have no trouble w the bosses, it’s the middle missions. I’ve completed 5 or 6 of the stage 3 showdowns and I don’t think I went into it with more than 5 or 6 runs.

This set of showdown is going to be harder. You're facing better bosses, but in the end it's always the same. If you are patient and get your pitches you should have no problem beating showdown. If you first or second pitch swing all the time and make a bunch of outs in a row it's tough to beat the good pitchers with their confidence at a high level. Work counts and get good pitches to hit showdown solved.

I beat a couple of these when they first came out and since then I’ve ran into the good/good monster lol I can’t even beat the missions anymore I go into the final showdown with like 4 or 5 runs and score 8-10 bu can’t finish them off.

And also in this recent stretch I’ve played I think I’ve hit so many warning track fly balls on power swings. It’s definitely been frustrating lol

Warning track fly balls are a requirement in this mode 😠 👎

I'm not great, but stage 3 TA's are by far the easiest.

I mean, Stage 1 AL central has this as a moment: "Down 6-1 in the bottom of the 9th, stage a comeback" The reward? A gold player.

To be fair all the rest of the AL central missions are extremely easy. I almost always went into the final showdown in ALC down 15-13 because of that specific one

I don't think stage 3 are more difficult. Again, I'm not good at showdown, but I'm getting better. I've completed the Stage 3 central showdown 7 out of 8 attempts.

I agree, but for stage 3 the central is really easy compared to the other two as well. The final showdowns are Lodolo, Zach Brown, and Wood and everyone that did a lot of stage 2 knows how to beat Brown and Lodolo anyway. Wood you just force him to walk guys. The only stage 3 showdown that is hard IMO is the west but only when Hershiser is in the mound
