When will it go down? It was at 30k a week ago but I was going for Degrom. Now it is 42k! Anyone have a clue when it will fall to 30-35k?

I might be in the minority here but I think TA prices will only continue to rise very slowly.

I was thinking POTM could bring it down. Am I correct?

If they have anything to do with the Honus collection this year like others think then the price will rise on them unfortunately. I can't complain though i sold Wood last night for 58k and now i'm at 65k not bad for beign at onky 5k last night.

I think so many people hurried to finish them and sell them that their price became lower than it will hold. People have either sold them or held on to them now, I think the prices only go up.

I’m not sure about that. The people that prefer to grind showdown rather than exchange for them haven’t even begun to get these done. Orel is only that much higher than the rest of them because everyone that grinded or exchanged for him planned on keeping him anyway

    This.
I for one, have no intention of selling him. Like many others. He's fun to pitch with. Always has been. Though I miss him having a 4seam..

Did anyone else think of something unsavory after reading the title of this thread?

Less and less people will be doing these. And if TAs are needed for an Honus collection these cards are going to skyrocket. The large majority of players have less than 15 TAs including stage 1 and 3.

you are absolutely not in the minority mate

i believe you are actually correct

its all dependant on future cards too but these TA's are amazing i cannot believe how low some of them were to purchase

Why don’t you just finish the TA to get him rather than spending the stubs on him that could be used to get a different card that might not be as easily obtained. Just a thought. I like that card too and I made it a point to grind out the Dodger TA to get him.

I actually had the pleasure of watching him for most of his career and I’m pretty sure he never featured a 4 seamer. Everything was dipping and diving and flipping and flopping. He was maddening to watch because everything he featured had silly movement. Being a Braves fan, he terrorized the team that I loved when the Braves played in the west. Don’t understand for the life of me how anybody could hit him.

As of right now, it's actually cheaper to buy him outright than it is to acquire him via the TA exchanges.

I think Orel and Kerry Wood will dip a bit, as prices rise more people want to get in the action. I have both and I was so tempted to sell Kerry even though I love using the card just because of the price, and since I bought him I've been contemplating completing the Cubs TA to get another. Absolutely try these two and Leiter if you get the chance, I canned the rest of my rotation for these guys.

I’m not doing TA exchanges I’m actually grinding showdown after showdown after showdown. It also a great way to farm stubs

Oh I agree, 100%. I watched most of his career too. Everything moved. I'm just comparing his previous cards which featured a 4seam to this year's..

I want to try and use my time else where. I’m grinding out 4 other TA’S, want to make a ranked push, prestiging Mo currently, and they keep dropping content. I will pay for Orel and can wait for collections. I play 2-2 and a half hours a day and there is only so much I can do! I’m also going away for a week or more soon!

Might be the second best pitcher in the game. The changeup sucks, but that curveball is devastating when the sinker/cutter is working.

And somehow he was just as much of a thorn in our side during his time with the Indians.
