Will TA prices go up or down?
-
I’m thinking about buying killebrew because I’m at 0 and I’m wondering if the prices of the cards will actually go up after the stubs sale. Can a market expert please say what will happen?
-
I wonder if these guys will be tied to some Honus type collection. That would probably make them go up.
-
I think they will go up with a stub sale... as does everything. But they will consistently tank over the year. They will be less desired and more people will be unlocking them just from playing.

I think FOTF will be included in that collection if there is one. But these FOTF are also linked to the original FOTF so it won’t be a “need” to have all of these cards. Especially if you unlocked a lot of the originals.

I'd say no doubt they go up with a stub sale. Has a 4th of July stub sale been announced yet? I haven't heard anything but if there is one coming I'd like to buy a card or two before the price shoots up.

Stub sale makes everything go up a bit other than that I see them tanking more as time goes by . There will only be more as time goes by more people unlocking them With more available = prices going down also them being needed for a collection could drive there price up in the future .

I think the good ones could go up to 100K over time. Anyone could start from zero TA points and do exchanges and they'd be paying well over that to get to a stage 3 card. Then there's the usability of it. You either grind for one or buy one. Only thing that would stop the upward trend is if superior players come out. It's unlikely that 5 superior pitchers will drop quickly and be as affordable/obtainable as the TA3 guys.

Stub sales have never been announced in advance.

You're one of the few people I've seen say this. After the announcement most were like "Pssssh, these are all going to be $20K in a week." However what you say here makes sense to me. I'm not smart enough to figure it out myself, but as I see it, there aren't going to be a ton of people grinding or exchanging from the start to get these cards. The supply might not be as overwhelming as people think. Will be interesting to see what happens as user reviews of the different cards start shaping their value.

Likely they will all roughly equal the value of doing the exchanges, so roughly 25k each as of right now. So, some go up and some come way down.

They are already not all that desirable. So many 99's on the way, and very soon.

It is so easy for many people to get these cards though.
