They aren’t underwhelming and your second 2 points I don’t see the problem with. Seriously don’t see what the fuss is about. The entitlement around here is insane

I bought diamonds at or near quick sell prices bc you never when they will pull a fast one. Ill sit on these and see if the stub sales drive the prices up.

I’ve learned to sell my investments the morning of or night before a drop. I will never hit that huge homer of a payoff but I rarely get burned and make a good amount of stubs this way. Remember SDS can see what majority is doing and know how to combat it.

Yes, but i highly doubt they change their plans a few days out just because people are expecting a certain thing and predicting how the market will change

It takes two seconds to decide if a card can be sellable and if you want a pack sale.

I didn't make a single investment so your point is moot.

I dont get the underwhelming comment. There are a few that are, no doubt. The majority are good cards though.

The cards are only underwhelming if your expectations were too high. Set the bar low and walk under it my friend. Making the cards sellable is a good thing for 95 percent of the community. No matter what side of the buyer/seller spectrum you are on. The prestige thing is annoying because of the begging for stats aspect but other than that its not really a problem at all

We all have opinions and different lineups. If your not upset about not cashing in on a bunch of golds then you must have a heck of a squad. There are plenty of cards that just dropped that will help me out. If you have the 20 best cards in the game already then okay I can see why you are underwhelmed.

Underwhelming more so in who they chose not really in the stats. Although some are no better than a bench bat.

There is no sense of accomplishment anymore. No longer can you feel good trotting out the likes of a stud you ground for and know not too many have them yet. Now any Tom, [censored], or Harry can grab mommy's credit card and they are instantly competitive with these current game mechanics. And you thought RS was a nightmare before......

    1. They aren’t.
    2. Why not? People seem to like the prestige gimmick, even though I’d argue the moonshot event has ruined what these cards were supposed to signify,
    3. It’s essentially SDS offering a buy it now option to players. The majority won’t bother or will use stubs they earn so they won’t notice or will praise SDS, but it is there for that group that is impulsive and impatient and will buy stubs to purchase them immediately...which brings up back to number 2. Because they’ll want them immediately to use in the Moonshot and begin trying to prestige them.

Again, I agree with that some are underwhelming choices, but many are HOFs. I believe I counted 13 HOFs, and around 5 more that are borderline.

    1. They are....imo.
    2. Prestige just leads to more boosting and the like.
    3. Why now? Why not have this the model the whole time? Why not make live series and all other collection rewards sellable? This makes no sense to me.

It makes a ton of sense to me.
Grinding out 30 TA's all the way to stage 3 is a time commitment I'd assume not to many have.
So giving those people an alternate way to obtain the players make sense.

Then why now? Why wait until some of us made the grind and spent the stubs to basically give them away for peanuts? Why not make collection rewards sellable? 99 Mantle, 99 Shef. I'm sure some don't want that grind either. Let's give everyone a Trout while we're at it.

I just fully explained why now.

If they originally had TA3 non-sellable and then later changed it to sellable, people would be up in arms because they would have locked in a bunch of ta3 cards they grinded for assuming they wouldn't be sellable

Collection rewards are very different from TA, it doesn't take weeks of grinding to catch up, so it's silly to equate the two.

This gives people who does not have the time to grind all of TA to obtain some of these cards, it makes sense.
