Disservice to Larry Walker

Larry walker is a great player and deserves to be in the hall of fame, but I think they did a disservice to him with the video at oracle park, first off I am a giants fan, but honestly seeing comments on the stream I think walker being shown was a let down. There are so many great giants players that are better than walker that arnt in the game (Bonds, Kent, Cepeda, perry, Marichal, and ott to name a few). I knew there was no shot it was bonds but I saw a ton of comments getting hyped about it to then see walker, it’s great walker is in the game but feel like his reveal was a bit of a let down from what people thought at first. I think they need to avoid putting Reveals at other stadiums, especially places like SF, NY, BOS, LA Where there are so many great players that arnt in the game. To me it just negates some of the excitement.

Bonds better than Walker?!?! He’s lost it.

I think they are used to bail people out of jail. I don't know why we talking about bail bonds here but maybe somebody here needs to call Saul.

Walker would have been a Hall of Farmer way earlier if he hadnt played his career in Coors
-
Kent, Cepeda and Marichal are not better than Walker. Not even close..

Bonds is hands-down a better player than Larry Walker. They do not have the rights to him though. I am not sure what the Op is talking about with the jumbotron at candlestick. I must have missed whatever that was.

Bonds is hands down better than pretty much anybody, but he'll never be in the game...

That’s very debatable, I don’t think he’s a hall of famer if he doesn’t play at coors. Played 17 years but battled injuries through out his career and his home/away splits are very different. He just barely got in now and I think if he played away from coors he would be a fringe hall of famer at best and possibly wouldn’t have gotten in.

Bonds literally has more than DOUBLE the career WAR than Walker. And Walker played at Coors. That's just asinine

You must not understand they were doing it on purpose to troll you. Lol even said it in the stream... c’mon man.

You must not understand how to read, I’m not upset it wasn’t a giants player, I wrote about how it was a disservice to walker because they made it look like a giants player who could of been a better player than walker. So in essence they “trolled” people with potential greatness and gave really good, so it was a bit disappointing seeing walker, so it took away from walkers reveal....c’mon man

Career 141 wRC+ (takes into account ballpark), .865 Road OPS (better than many many HOFers, was a fantastic fielder with 7 GGs, and an extremely underrated baserunner..
Coors held his HOF credentials back. It didn't help him.. he's a HOFer regardless of ever playing in Denver..

Lmao still going on about this? He’s a new legend and a 5 tool player. No one cares about what stadium they showed him in but you.
-
Lmao if you’re arguing that Walker is better than Bonds you lose any credibility you ever had. Bonds is the best player to ever play the sport.

Only the real ones will recognize that name lol

If Larry Walker married Walker Buehler, then he’d be Larry Buehler.
