Unfortunately there were no survivors. According to CNN.
The loss of a life is tragic no matter the age but, it's a lot worse when one is only 13.

I personally don't know how a joke like that can be taken as funny considering him and his daughter violently crashed and died just 2 days ago, but I guess it's just me Lol...i never got the point and innocence of telling a joke about a recently dead person...but i guess i need to understand somehow

If you're going to troll at least be somewhat funny or interesting.
Different people have different ways of coping though, humor is one of them. Sometimes humor can help distract us from a sad reality and helps us focus on the good things in life (such as being happy and laughing) which allows us to live better. Do you think Kobe Bryant would want us to be sad that he died and miserable or he'd want us to celebrate his greatness with a little humor mixed in?
