Who is the best player in the XP reward pack? Sandberg, Jackson, Posey, etc?
-
Hi everyone, I choose Sandberg as my first pick and I dont regret it at all. He does very well for me at 2nd, plus his fielding is amazing. I am now at lvl 97 silver and I am needing to know who to pick second. I have Sheffield, Gwynn, and Bellinger in the OF and I dont really want to take out Gwynn, he was my favorite hitter from 19'. He does well for me too lead off. Jackson I heard is an amazing hitter but his defense isnt that good? What about Larkin?!? I need some suggestions on him b/c I have Didi/Carlos @ SS and I could use a better SS. My created player is at C. I have Chipper @ 3rd. I now use the 99 Jackie Robinson @ 1st. Does Posey hit well? PLEASE help me with your experiences!

In b4 Larkin rips
-
Posey is a hitting machine. Doubles all day if you swing in the lower zone vs righties and just crushes lefties. Have not used Larkin or Reggie yet.
-
Take posey and move your cap to SS
-
Barry Larkin is great vs LHP!! But sucks vs RHP. If u like actual power ! Reggie jackson is very solid . Posey sucks vs RHP and u face RHP way more!! I would say pick reggie Jackson or minnie! I know alot dont love minnie but he can play 3rd and OF plus is all around solid !

Picked Jackson first and dont regret it. Picked Larkin second and I love him, but I think Posey is undervalued. I added him 3rd and hes been great for me. If I could do it again, I'd probably take Posey second....

Larkin rips

Despite Larkin ripping, it's gotta be Reggie.

Honestly besides like Reggie and Sandberg, im not a fan of the xp level 100 rewards this year. Only 1 is endgame as Reggie is comparable to others in hitting and has bad defense. Last year we got Thomas, Gwynn, Snider, Morgan, who are all better than all the cards we have gotten this year
-
I took Posey first. No regrets. Reggie has been so-so, same for Larkin.
-
Posey is the best! I took him first, have sandburg and Larkin too. Posey has way better power than his attributes vs rh
-
Jackson without a doubt for me he just rakes. I think i'm taking Posey when I hit diamond level 1.
-
Reggie never lets me down. I took him out of my lineup for Belli and regretted it after about 10 RS games. Ever since I plugged him back in, I think I've won every game except for one. He only has silver defense in right, but I feel like he plays above his defensive stats, and some people really underestimate his 83 arm. They act like it's an Ellsbury arm.

Jackson is a beast for me.

Larkin rips
Larkin rips, but Posey rakes

You should have your cap as SS which rules out Larkin, Shef should be at 3rd which opens up for Jackson, depends how close to Biggio you are if Sandberg is a good choice. I can’t speak to Posey as I haven’t used him.
-
@Validate_User I was thinking of moving my cap to SS so that is a good idea.. Why Shef at third though? Chipper is one of my favorite cards this year so I use him at 3rd. I am very close to Biggio. I just need to buy Cole and Trout only and I have 300k so Im a couple weeks away from getting Biggio, Wagner, Giambi, and MANTLE! Is Biggio better than Sandberg? How does Biggio do?

A shortstop 89 balanced CAP can be a beast. Better then Larkin. I’m currently going after Biggio but I’m also about to hit gold 1 and want Posey as I have done well with him in BR. And then they release a 99 Jackie...Biggio has been solid in my small sample size. Sheffield sucks in another small sample size. That stance is terrible. Sandberg swings like a golfer. If you like Chipper keep him. Reggie takes time to getting used to. Billy Wagner is the 2nd best lefty in the game (Chapman is the best). How have you done with Sandberg? I’m also not sure how Giambi performs as I have not used him. Mantle is the best card in the game and I can’t wait to get him! Switch hitter that is a 5 tool player. No other card is like that. Chipper and your CAP are the closest you will get to Mantle but even Chipper can’t field and can’t run great.

@olivegarden2 Yeah I have 99 Jackie at first. I use to have Matt Olson FOTF b/c he hit so well but Jackie's stats are just so amazing. I use either him or Gwynn for lead off. Besides Chipper, Sandberg is the other player that has done extremely well for me. Chipper seems to always hit home runs or doubles and Sandberg always seems to hit singles or doubles. If I had to keep 3 players on my team it would be Chipper, Sandberg, and Bellinger. They always perform and come through for me. Sheffield does well too and his defensive is better than what the card shows b/c of him speed but I havent used him nearly as much as Chipper and Sandberg so I cant speak too much for him. Since the Ernie Banks card just came out it would be tough to make a Cap for SS now lol. My cap is all maxed out on equipment rn except he is a 85 instead of 89. Once he gets to 89 though his stats will be amazing as they are pretty good rn.

Only problem I see with Ernie is the speed at shortstop. I would also wait for his price to go down a little bit
