I've always used meter and gotten to World Series a couple times in 18 and 19, but it feels this year like meter pitching is getting punished hard. Just played a game with King Felix and EVERYTHING was drifting over the middle, even pitches with perfect timing meant to be high and outside. Overall it just feels like even the slightest miss in meter and there's like a 60% chance it will miss dead center.

What's the learning curve for analog and do people think it's worth it?

I need to switch as well. It doesn’t matter what I do I can’t throw a slider where I want it. Even when I get perfect release it just dies middle of the plate. I gave up ten homers In two ranked games this Weekend

This -- sliders especially just hang with the slightest bit off of meter that I barely use them now

I agree they ruined pitching this year.. try pure analog, turn pitching ball marker to classic on, use zoom for pitching camera angle

Definitely worth it to switch and learn for if they ever get it right. It doesn't take long and it's the least random.

But trust me, you're still going to throw unexplainable hangers.

I think all the pitching input methods suffer from the “can’t locate” code this year. Analog seems slightly more controllable to me.

I use meter pitching. It hasn’t been that bad for me but I cannot pitch to Didi to save my life. When he loads up his stance his batting gloves obstruct my view of the meter and I throw trash every single pitch. I’m king of wondering if anyone else experiences this.

User input just has less and less affect each year and each patch. Doesn’t matter which pitch style you use

I've been struggling too and use meter. I didn't realize there was a difference between analog and meter though. I've never used anything other than meter... will have to try. Pitching is tough... some games no matter what it's either a ball or right over the middle of the plate.

I think it is more of the issue with sliders cause I know I threw a perfect release slider yesterday in the event and it was supposed to be down and in and I saw it move cut in towards the inside side and then come back over the middle. I think they have turned the slider into a knuckleball cause what I say defied the laws of physics on a slider.

Come set when pitching, you will see much better accuracy from your pitches.
