So so toxic. So many kids that just don’t get it and now I know why I don’t play it.
Just faced Nolan Ryan, Kluber, Hal. He had 6 bunt hits and tried 12 times.Great times. Love this game.

Bring the whole infield in and force them to actually hit the ball. Once a guy bunts against me, I bring the infield in for anyone who could potentially bunt. They usually quit out once they realize you're actually countering the cheese.

Bring up the defensive adjustments menu and play your 2B in to defend that cheesy bunt to the right side of the infield and play your 3B on the drag bunt to protect the other side.

How do you set individual positions to play a certain way? Is that even possible? If it is, I missed something somewhere....

Oh yes, you missed quite a bit apparently. You press down on the d-pad to bring up the defensive adjustments menu and then you can set everything you need manually. Whether you want to set something for the entire line up or just this batter, if you want it for the entire game or just this at bat, you can scroll manually through every fielder and select every single defensive alignment for each and every fielder or you can set how you wanna set the outfield/infield as a group.
I suggest you go into a play vs CPU game and mess around a bit with the menu since there's no clock involved there.

[censored] I didnt know that it was that in depth for each player. I'll look at that tonight. Thanks for the heads up. I've been playing this game forever but never really went full in depth on a lot of things because I just stayed offline. I'm dabbling more in the online area of the game so this will help greatly.
