Probably not... and the worst part is when you actually manage to get the off speed in the dirt, there’s a 50% chance that the catcher will let the ball get away from him. It’s honestly sad that my Gold Glove Matt Wieters struggles to block a routine change-up in the dirt.

They definitely fixed catcher blocking though...

Perfect/perfect 3/4 way below the bottom of the strike zone. SDS lets make that pitch middle/middle. It’s so bad at this point.

I mean, somewhat, but I’m still seeing way too many instances where a base runner is able to take second or third because the catcher wasn’t able to keep it in front of him. Sure, not every fifth pitch is going to the backstop, but I can’t really say it’s been 100% fixed.
Still a massive improvement this year, though.

I've always said, I could live with the hitting, but the good/okays get to me a lot more when pitches are consistently hanging
