Online Franchise

All I ask is please do not ignore this topic and just address if it'll be back or when itll be back. I understand DD is the big mode but that doesnt mean fans of other modes should suffer. Servers should be better now, there are more players today so I imagine the player base of OF would be bigger and lastly, I love DD but we need other things to do other than collecting cards and playing with god squads really miss the strategy that went into OF.

There are still ppl playing OF in 17 so there's a dedicated base that can become much bigger now that there are more players in the game not to mention players who never played it but might get into it just to switch up the experience after 3 years of only DD.
Franchise is just too easy even on legend besides I play the show to play other ppl that's the real fun imo.
Just because a mode has a smaller player base doesn't mean it should be scarped you want as many ppl playing your game as possible I have met a lot of ppl who stopped playing bc there's nothing for them since they are not into DD or offline playing.
I understood why they took it out years ago but the game & studio are bigger now and only going to become bigger next year when they introduce the game into other platforms all the other sports games have it baseball is not different.

They would rather have a game run smoothly out the door for hundreds of thousands instead of it running poorly but keep the couple thousand happy who played OF.
I hope the new mode/tourney scheme does bring you some version of OF because honestly I am tired of seeing it posted every other day by the same group of people.

You're seeing the same ppl because a very small group of players actually use this website if you go on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and other online forums you'll see other ppl talking about it. Of course, it affects revenue more players means more money it's simple.
Your statement was true 3 years ago but SDS is a bigger company now which means better servers and more capacity to make the game bigger. This is not an indie game anymore the fact that the show is going to be multi-platform next year should tell you that they have upgraded their servers massively.

You are missing the point. In the grand scheme of things, DD is played significantly more than OF. When DD wasn't even a thing more people played Ranked than OF. OF is a cool game mode but when you look at the numbers of users who played it, it is very very low compared to all other modes.
You are right, next year is a huge year for MLB the show going to multiple consoles and platforms which means more individuals will be buying the game. Servers have obviously improved and they improved significantly in 2019, I just hope this new league mode gives those OFM fans something similar so they can be satisfied.

The same people who spew this hidden hatred for us OFM guys just want it to burn so that more attention is given to DD.. I can not wait until this CREATED LEAGUE thing busses their bubble.. I am just tired of people constantly complaining about the game mode not being in the game. They removed it years ago and gave reasons why they did remove it and at the time they said they have no plans on it returning in the future. The created league thing may be the best thing to keep you happy and I am happy about that.
Complaining about not having this game mode is just as annoying as people complaining about lineouts in this game. Everyone knows it's an issue don't need to repeat it everyday.

It's none of your business what anybody does and it seems to do more harm than good! You don't see people in DD threads whining and being nosy.. Just saying! Our threads only come around every once in a while and it's obvious that there are people who just like keeping people down... Now we have hope and guys are still acting like they have the last say.. Sony Sandiego also said in that same letter that things could change and seems that time has come! Stop trying to ruin our joy and participate in the threads of modes you do like! Smh..
