MTO > Showdowns?
-
I’ve really enjoyed MTO this year. I wasn’t a fan of the “all or nothing” rewards last year, but the way they do it this year is much better. When I run out of Moments and Conquest maps, I’ve been playing MTO until more are released. I’ve finished about six of them so far. My very first one I lost in Game 7 of the WS, but I’ve won the WS in every one since then.

Do you get rewarded as you go, or do you get all the points at the end based on how you did (like, do you get the reward for winning the division when you win the division, or not until you win the WS, or get eliminated)?
-
You get rewards at All Star break, end of season, besides the two playoff rewards also. Did MTO once, it was fun, but not enough TA for the time spend IMO
Try dynamic next time, don’t lower difficulty like I did for WS. It locks you at beginner no matter what unless they updated it. Been a while since I played

Sometimes you gotta just mix it up between the game modes and mto is a great way to do that. Especially if you are still in the 1st tier for TA with teams

Do the points only count for first tier? If so....I messed up.

No, the TA points earned in MTO count towards whatever tier you are in.

Well I mix my m20 on beginner with my dailies and can finish one once a week even with 40 hour work week. Kinda fun coming in behind and making a comeback . Wish there were more high pressure save chances. Option to forfeit the challenge and go to the next one. The real challenge is taking the underdogs....Florida and Pittsburgh are going to be interesting... I try to trade for atleast one power bat and one speedster. In red run now and just got mondesi... who I already kill with....with Suerez and Moust as bombers...its fun....mind you first time ever... I lost no hitter challenge. Besides the time I instantly beamed batters to get yanked to end reg season since it was late September.

The go for both teirs so for example you are doing a Dodgers MTO and after the season you are 1 point away from stage 2 so you have 69/70 points and you complete the Division series for the 6 points you will have 5 points carry over to Stage 2

I played March to October for the first time last night and, I gotta say, pretty fun. I also think it may be a better use of time for people who can’t play through showdowns with ease. I’m not terrible at showdowns (I probably succeed 3 out of 5 times), but I find they are tedious and getting repetitive. Honestly, I’m just kind of sick of the mode, and was looking for something to do offline on nights I just want to chill.
I haven’t made it to the end - Played about 3 hours last night and I’m in mid June (with a 14 game division lead on All-Star...wish I did HOF) - does it seem like it’s worth the time you put in for the TA points? Obviously people who can skip to the boss in showdowns and win should stick to that - but for a guy with a 60% success rate who needs to play through the whole showdown to win (and doesn’t want to play online every night) this seems like a good alternative.
I have complete 3 teams to WS and have finished the Regular season with 3 others
I love this mode and like you said it's just a nice chill way to play the game and progress towards TA. -

Yes, they did for me!

It's a really good alternative if you've already done the program showdown and conquest. Especially if your not really into playing RS, or you struggle with 1st tier TA showdowns (as I do). Eventually I'd like to get all the teams to stage 2 and try stage 2 showdowns, heard those are a lot easier than stage 1.

I’ve played two different teams on March to October, Astros and Angels, winning World Series, both on All-Star, and had a great time! Enjoy!

Nah I just mentioned it that way because the stage 2 showdowns are so much easier. Trying to get everyone to 120 ta is my new mission after finishing the ls collection.
