Prestige Chipper Lock him or NO?

Do you guys think SDS will continue prestige Chipper to make him a 99?sort of like Robinson's new program or do you think they will release a 99 Chipper version in packs or boss? Want to lock him in and try to prestige him but if they release a 99 version non related to his prestige it would be a waste of stubs. Would be nice if some prestige players you are able to level them up to 99's.

I disagree that another chipper is a guarantee. This might be the best chipper. Lock in and enjoy

Its 40k and Chipper is just a complete stud.

I’d say there is a possibility of a further prestige later as well. Perhaps an SS or Prime stage 2.

No reason to lock chipper until the prestige stats are done (they count without locking).
Also, I guarantee there will be a 99 chipper, just likely one you can’t prestige (so WS, BR, or some offline sig teams type grind)

I had him at 3b since I got him in program. Then finished prestiging his stats from playing event so much , and fell in love with the card in the process. So I locked him in to get the little boost and now he’s my starting 3bman for the foreseeable future . The way I see it he’s a deadly bench bat, (near if not end game even) as better options come out for 3b. The prestige brings his fielding to a silver level and he’s plays solid D. I love switch hitters, chipper behind mantle is pretty deadly in the 2 and 3 hole

I think they purposely made that card a non Sig, Prime or Award so that they can release a Chipper one of those later. The Roberts and Victorinos were prime and award, so the best cards we’ll see all year of those two.
I think, in general, if a guy is worthy of a 97-plus and they don’t have a sig, prime or award card yet, we’ll eventually see those down the line (the preorder legends, Chipper, Feller, for instance)

There will very likely be another chipper later on. You can always just play with the card and collect all the prestige points. You don’t have to lock him in now.

If a better one does come out it will be waaaaaaaaaay later like late fall winter and I’ll prpbably be done w game by then. Also they could very well just add another stage to this card to upgrade to sig or whatever. They did this w Jackie and I believe it wasn’t just a one time thing. I could see them doing that w a lot of players that have multiple cards in the game. Chipper was expensive last year so making him completely grindable this year lines up w how ads usually does things

The better chipper might not be until winter based on what we saw last year with early diamonds, so if you like the card definitely lock it in and enjoy

He hits better than prestige Mantle for me.
