Plenty of people get mantle at silver 72.
#1 Don't buy packs, just open the free ones. (Maybe you'll get lucky and pull a Cole or Bellinger, doesn't need to be Trout.)
#2 Sell off inning program rewards.
#3 Do events and sell off player rewards.
#4 Complete Team Affinities by doing Showdowns and never exchanges.
#5 Do the player and monthly programs for the stubs and packs.
#6 Sell off any non-live series cards you get such as the prospect packs from Conquest.
#7 Complete these things early in their cycle so when you sell off non-live cards the price is highest.

Impossible unless he had multiple trout pulls. And I beat him and I’m not great at the game I just play too much lol. He didnt have a BR or WS nameplate at all and that’s something people would wanna showcase if they have it

So what are all these questions you have? What are you so perplexed by? He probably spent some money on the game. Maybe he has the resources to do so and enjoys the game that way. I honestly don't understand how XP level has anything to do with having mantle. If he's not really good at the game then he probably had some good pack luck and / or spend some money. It's not rocket science nor should it be a big deal.

I'm a silver 92 and I almost have mantle. I have spent zero time playing the market, and I have spent zero money on the game after purchase. The only diamond pull I have that's been over 10k in value was trout which is why I've finished AL first.
My entire team is free cards except for Trout, I just sell everything and work towards making Mantle. It's not ridiculous to be where he is.

I had Mantle and was at under 60 silver.
Collections don't give the XP like they used to.
Who cares if he bought stubs. It's not your life.
The same can be said about the losers I see with 18 prestige that can't catch up to a FB in an event game on AS. I can see that weeks of retromode hasn't helped their skill.
Be less judgemental, and just play the game. I reserve my judgement for those with 69, big Johnson CAP's and inappropriate logos.

If someone would spend that much money on the game to get mantle that’s fine, doesn’t matter the xp level. When I had first seen it I was confused and the only plausible thing would be to spend money. I just don’t see how someone would want to spend that much towards a single card. Not ruling out that it happened but hey people spend money on a lot worse stuff

Also just remembered there’s a truck load of xp from doing collections. So all collections would give a wild amount to jump the level to what the person was. All I’m saying is the dude either is lucky to have gotten the best pulls in the game(unlikely) OR dropped many benjis to get the cards

If someone would spend that much money on the game to get mantle that’s fine, doesn’t matter the xp level. who is anyone to say how anyone else spends their own money? It may be a lot of money to you but a drop in the bucket to others. Keep that in mind. Some people only play this game a couple of hours a week and want to play with the best cards because they bust their [censored] at work and make tons of money. I'm not in that category but it's possible so nobody should be judged for spending money. If people didn't spend money on this game it would be worse than it already is because San Diego studios wouldn't be making money.

I'm silver 89 I finished all collections an I literally never left auction house for a month straight flipping cards...only money spent was 20$ my wife gave me to hurry up and get last card I needed during that last stub sale other than that it was just flipping...and yes I also was playing too all conquest moments are all finished except these new moments..... being on lockdown made this possible with literally nothing else better to do....
