Catcher Throwing meter?

Hey everyone, having a hard time getting the perfect throw meter trophy from throwing a base stealer out. My meter doesn’t pop up all the time and when it does the runner is already at second base, any tips?

My only guess from what you're saying is happening is that you are pressing the button too late. As soon as you release the pitch and realize the runner is going you wanna push the button for the base you want to throw to and as soon as the catcher gets the ball the meter should pop up. Then press the button again to stop the meter.

Nah, it's bugged out and some users don't get the meter on steals despite using Buttons Accuracy.

Is there anyway to fix it?

There have been times I don't get the meter and I think it is because I press triangle too early. When I wait until the catcher is catching the ball then press triangle I don't seem to have any issue, other than timing the throw after that is.
