Hitting has not changed in showdown

Nope it has not

It hasn’t changed anywhere. I had three good squared up shots in an event game, lineouts and fly outs. My opponent? Oppo field HR on an early okay. My first day on since Tuesday, think I need to log back off. Game is booty

Hell no it’s gotten worse. I played a ranked game today and in 6 straight at bats I had 6 good timing swings. 1 was a perfect perfect, 2 were good squared (these were hits. 3 good okay with center pci all for outs. Its a sad state of affairs that sds has no idea how to fix something that was broken after they broke it with patch 1.04

Can't speak to showdown but in the event hitting has been better. 80% of my perfect perfect are going for hits.
-
It's gotten worse IMO. In the aggregate it seems to all even out but the contact area means essentially nothing anymore. It's turned the mode into a grind for the sake of grind.
Hitting now feels more contextual than input-based. If I need a hit and my input is not a total disaster, I get a hit. If I'm close to finishing the objective with some wiggle room, nothing outside of literal perfect input will result in a positive outcome.

The event plays like a joke though...and the pitching available isn’t very good

You are right. I still lose from inconsistent hitting like before. I can not beat Ohtani to save my life, and hes on Veteran. Got mowed down again. Finally beat all blues leading up to him so I can skip him and take my chances to beat Verlander with 20 outs down 9-15.
Update, lost 15-15. So yeah doing MTO, after 5 or 6 fails I have spent more time failing AL west Showdown than it would take to do a regular season on MTO.

You're wrong, it's so much easier to hit good/ok
Nope sorry bud you’re one of the few that’s getting rewarded
