Ability to name coaches and managers. And change appearence
More in depth player cards. Like accolades (gold gloves, MVPs, WS titles, all-star appearances ECT.)
Revamped play the moments. Like a filter to choose from ( I love that feature I just don't want to play hitting streak all the time). Maybe have the game start by simming, then at key moments you can jump in and play.
Those are 3 big ones for me

I wish that while playing franchise if the show drops a roster update, your franchise rosters would update as well, I love playing at the same time as the mob schedule and I like to see the rosters been updated along the way while I play

Ability to create expansion teams in franchise mode along with creating new uniforms, stadiums, etc would be nice.

Pitcher/catcher chemistry. Have positive effects on location, k/9, h/9, blocking, pick offs. Negatives as well, more you use a pitcher/catcher combination the better the chemistry becomes. This would force the use of multiple catchers and make it more like MLB where specific pitchers only throw to specific catchers.

Yes, I echo everything already said. Also, it might seem small, but the game presentations could be improved. Being able to have different engines, all with their own type of presentation like ESPN, FOX, and CBS. And maybe like FS1 for playoffs or something. Being able to use Statcast, a better regression system for players and doubleheaders. More fan interaction in the stands, actual ejections from arguing, specializing pitchers to 7th and 8th innings. International pool money and a PTBNL option. Ofc all of the rebrand/relocation/expansion and actual financial control like promotions. FAN INTENSITY DURING MOMENTS LIKE "9th inning, playoffs, walkoffs, historic moments( a players 3000th K or 500th homerun)". A RALLY squirrel and cat. 3 team trades. Hiring financial advisors, mentors,etc. Having celebrities throw first pitches, the WBC. A better wrap up show like a "MLB tonight" where we could see videos of those other moments across the league. Logic to not have all of the games be simulated before yours starts (Ex. If I play in Tampa at 7:30 a game in Colorado at 9:05 should not finish before mine barring a major rain delay, which would not happen since Tampa is domed). I could go on forever.

This game would be the best if it had this in it.

I would love a more studio version with mlb network guys interviewing breakout players or stars asking them questions about their current performance and if the are going for a record...more or less almost realistic..Also pregame talk about what is happening currently like madden does..

In franchise, the ability to change the managers number, especially when he has the same number as a player. And the ability to change hairstyles on the MLB players. I'd like to see Bryce Harper beard-less lol
