Why No Real Uniforms?

This is one aspect of DD that I will never quite understand. There are so many historically awesome (and awful) uniforms. Why aren't they in the mode? Literally every sports game out there has real uniforms as part of their card collecting mode, except for The Show. They're already in game, at least some of them, how come they can't be in DD?

They want creativity in DD. They already answered this question some years ago and stated they will never add uniforms to the game mode.
That said, I'd like to see more customization on the jerseys themselves. The sleeve logos, new number and name fonts, tri-colored name/numbers, ect.

Creativity? The uniform creation process literally hasn't changed in years. I think they added 3 fonts.

Nobody just wants to put in the 20 minutes it takes to make them.
I'll do all time team builds once there is enough cards, and love building the uni for the team I'm doing. I usually go retro too. -

This is imo one of my favorite features of MLB The Show, true in depth Jersey creation, needs to be more in depth however. But to say nobody wants to put time into their jerseys is incorrect. I know of people who make money doing this.

What I'm getting at is 95% of my opponents have generic, even downright terrible uniforms... As if they were color blind..
With how deep the vault is these days, it takes very little time (if you know what you're doing) to build any team's exact replica

Absolutely. But we censor it for the young crowds. So your jersey will be for the Tucson Sharkb***s

I just create the Phillies uniforms. It’s pretty accurate but it’s just annoying I can’t just use their real uniforms

I would love to see more types of jerseys added. Like cutoff sleeve jerseys. I know you can just change the sleeve color if you want but I still see them there. Colorado has a cutoff jersey so it should just be an option.

Would be great if they just released them in card form as equipment. Another market opportunity for us and SDS makes their money also. Silver for road, bronze for home, gold for alternate, diamond for throwback/holiday.

They can want creativity all they want. The reality is, most teams don't even put effort into it, so you see the same ugly, boring uniforms over and over
