I’m confused. Pre patch it was “impossible to get good hits”, post patch it’s impossible to pitch? Did you want them to patch hitting just for you and not your opponent?
I’ve been pitching fine today. I have had to pull pitchers sooner then normal once the confidence dips a little, and I’m more careful where I pitch, but haven’t seen anything wonky. More hits yes, but isn’t that what we asked for?

Never said it was impossible to get good hits, I had a decent record hitting wasn’t my problem, my problem was fielders not being able to field balls. Now it’s fielders not getting to balls and impossible to pitch when everything is being hit out. It isn’t skilled based at this point and it’s clear.

They just can’t stop making this game worse. By the time we get to August every pitch you throw will be a homerun, but only if you’re early and don’t get the PCI on the ball. Goffabid you have good timing and get the PCI on the ball, you’ll strikeout.

I’m sure the patch was great for HOF, I mean timing windows needed tweaking but the pci actually getting bigger in all-star is insane. That’s part of why it’s all star hell because you can get to anything, unless you totally sell out and guess wrong, even then you can probably foul it off. Pitching effectively is nearly impossible against a good opponent. I can’t wait to get back to hof even before the patch but I’ve been sidetracked w events. The event today after patch is pretty nuts. Guys with decent vision and contact have like the whole strike zone in the inner circle w a normal swing.
They need to re-evaluate the fine details of their difficulty settings, there is way to big a leap from all-star to hof, and that leap is bigger because these giant pcis make you a lazier player and overly aggressive. -
Amazing how MLB The Show should be getting better by the year, which may be true as far as graphics, content, game modes are concerned, but as far as gameplay is concerned?
This game seems to get worse in terms of gameplay year after year. Its quite laughable how that's even possible.

It shows just how incompetent they are. Honestly, whoever gave SDS the license should be ashamed. They’re obviously in over their heads at this point. Time to pass it along to someone else.
