Everyone who has a problem with hitting being too easy post patch

The changes to hitting are not the problem, the problem is pitching/strike zone. Since they have taken away the edges of the zone hitters can sit and relax not worrying about chasing a pitch. The fact the edges are taken away forces the pitcher to throw more hittable pitches. These two together are the problem. Fix this and suddenly hitting isn't so easy.

Even so, PCI can still cover outside of the zone. Now that PCI'S are bigger and timing windows are opened up getting to them wouldn't be a problem. Sprinkle in some bombs with the PCI off the ball and it's all irrelevant.
Timing windows should've been the only adjustment to start with IMO for hitting

I think it would make a big difference between sitting and waiting to sitting and wondering. Right now you don't even have to wonder.

It’s two things, as you said you get no credit for dotting a pitch so you have to throw in the middle of the zone which is bs, totally takes away from the art of pitching and the pci needed no adjustment, the timing window was the only thing.
It’s a mess right now and for the first time in along time I can’t even play it. There’s no sense of accomplishment in hitting a homerun or hard hit ball when almost everything is stung and it’s impossible to make pitches and get outs the normal way rather than liners right at fielders. -
Pitching has always been my strong suit. Not to say that I was terrible at hitting but I lived on my ability to keep my opponent in check from the mound. The game is way more fun when there is balance between hitting and pitching. User skill is almost irrelevant right now. If we can get pci outcomes corrected and pitching lined out then the game will be enjoyable.

With hitting being so easy it removes the challenge, I guess maybe calling it a mess isn’t quite accurate but if you factor in the base running and some of the wonky fielding it can be frustrating.

Agree. Hitting got a much needed patch. I think this is the best thing they’ve done since the launch of the game.

Yeah frustrating is good...but i really think a few mild tweaks..nothing major, and the game will be great.

I could hit before the patch, now I can't. I could pitch before the patch, now I'm letting 6+ homeruns in a game. It's just not fun anymore

It's so easy to just sit back and swing fastball every single pitch. I've seen more check swing appeals going against the batter, but again, we need to remove them all together. Sit fastball, foul off anything in the zone and get a twitch check swing if its not.
