Molitor is a Brewer
-
I really hope you're right, Clutch.
-
I have been really irked that there is next to nothing added for the Brewers. Give me something. Please. 2004 Ben Sheets? Jeromy Burnitz HR Derby champ and All Star? Prince Fielder? Geoff Jenkins? A CC Sabathia Post Season card from 2008? Now this. Sheesh.
-
I'll even take Teddy Higuera. Do I remember him? No but he was a great brewers pitcher, and SDS needs to know we have more than Rollie and half a season of CC Sabathia.

Brother, I remember Teddy and the 87 Brew Crew....13-0 Start.
Higuera's no hitter clinched by Yount's diving catch in the outfield.
Molitor's hit streak.
They were the kings of baseball for a month...Then reality set in.
Fun team to watch.
Higuera would be a fun card for Brewers fans. He was not a power pitcher but he could spin that ball. -
It was Juan Nieves no hitter. My 10 year old self with never forget (yes, I am old SDS, but that means I have loads of cash to dump into the game to chase me some Brewers legends.
Higuera
Nieves
Cecil Cooper
Ted Simmons (HOF!)
Gorman Thomas
Jeff Cirillo
Already mentioned Sheets, Burnitz, Sexson, Jenkins...please give me some freaking content! -
Yeah, the Brewers content is pityful! Worst team in that regards this year.

They made an extremely underwhelming 95 overall Griffey Jr. I'm almost 100% sure that won't be his best card in the game. I would expect a lot of guys who have diamonds now to get 99s later in the game just based off that. And the fact that they gave chipper Jones a 94 veteran card when he had a MVP season in 1999 which would warrant a better card than his 94 overall.
Truthfully I think we will see alof of these guys in stage 4 team affinity.
99 Griffey
99 chipper
Alot of others as wellI'm of this belief also.
99 Brett for RoyalsHe is the face of the Royals franchise.

Please don't bring up our HR leader of 30 years. Praise Jesus for Moustakas. I know, Soler has it now but if they ever deaden the balls again he will be completely useless.

I agree Just like Mike Piazza will allways be a dodger to me
In defense of the OP, Molitor was certainly known as a Brewer. Piazza is a Met to everyone but Dodgers fans

Piazza’s best years by far were with the Dodgers though.

I get it, he had some good years in Toronto. But Molitor's best year was 1987 and you cannot convince me otherwise. Was better in every rate stat, and led the league in runs and doubles despite only playing in 118 games. I believe he still was playing in the field then too, and he won the Silver Slugger in that season. Are they going to make a 99 molitor this year? With him already having a 96 it's doubtful and it's criminal he has a card for a team he played for 3 years with and not the team with whom he is still an icon to this day.
I'm a Jays fan, and I completely agree. He had a couple seasons better in MIL than he did in '93. And of course he will always be a Brewer first, which is the cap he wore going into the hall with.
However!! He won his title here, and was World Series MVP hitting an insane .500...
Thank you for Pauly! We borrowed him, but he led us back to the promised land. To me, this card represents that. It's also his personal favorite season of his career, for obvious reasons, which he mentions every time he's on TV talking about his career -
Even if Molitor was a brewer (which I agree with) he had some really great years with Toronto, 1993 in particular, (2nd place MVP, 2nd place batting title, WS MVP.) I think it’s okay that he finally has a good Blue Jays version.

His career arc card in 18 was a Toronto card. Conversely, Sabathias card was a Brewer.

yeah, but he was useless in 18 as were all contact hitters.

I said good lol. You’re right, he did have a card in 18’ but it was awful.
-
I heard if you get a good Moliter you can catch up to most fastballs in this game!

Are you saying he's useful now, will you be plugging him at First base on your main squad?

Well he had a batting average for the Dodgers, but had more power numbers with the Mets, also played more games with Mets, and well is in the Hall of Fame wearing a Met cap. The slowdown in BA is normal for an aging Catcher. Piazza is my guy, he changed the way I look at baseball, and he hit one of the most iconic homeruns ever when baseball returned after 911. Truly captivated the entire city.
Fun story , I had a Piazza rookie card when I was 7 and he was my favorite player due to the worth of said card at the time. Later on he got traded to my favorite team it was a match made in heaven for me.
