wonder if its possible to make a way to rollover your DD team year to year like in RTTS you can rollover your player, why not bring in your DD team into 2021 show ?

Besides the variety of answers already posted, wouldn’t that kind of defeat the purpose? The point of DD is to work towards and earn cards. If you jumped into 2021 with every card, why bother? This would also be a horrible decision for competitive play. Having a reset each year allows new players to jump in at the same level. This is all besides the point that the cards actually change a bit each year. Most of the time cards are not a 1:1 duplicate from the previous year.
Now if there was some day one exclusive card for players that did something of consequence the previous year (WS, 12-0, complete a Live Series or Honus type collection) which wasn’t super OP (high gold or low diamond), I would be okay with that. Maybe they get to use a lower rated version of a new legend before other players as a reward. The card could come out to other players later in the year in some other type of reward pack so it would just be a timed exclusive.
They kind of already do something similar with loyalty reward packs, but I think having a timed exclusive card would be a nice way of rewarding people who stick around each year.

i like that... you being in say 2018 DD team and you can drop scrubs or say players ranked under 70, so then you can get new guys for 2019. Keep the rest but if you have say 2 Trout diamonds you cant have both so 1 either offsets or are based on stats or something to make you decide which to keep, maybe instead of diamond like a "ultimate/legend" all 99s and maxed attributes..

Nothing like carrying anything of value year over year, but if you played in 17-18-19 etc. Getting a signature card from that game (Like the cover cards) is cool. Also it would be cool if you could carry your CAP over and he starts at like a 75 instead of a 65 so he is useable
