I would not say that exactly. Sometimes the CPU will go into show motion which will freeze your runner while the pitcher makes his move so you do get picked off. Now I will say that does not happen often but it does happen.

Yeah, that's what happened to me. Even when I did move the stick to get back to 1st base, it didn't give me enough time for that input to register, much less time for me to even react in the first place.

I was paying attention, too! My eye never leaves the pitcher when I'm on base.

First if you want to dive you have to use i believe is L2. or R2. I will tell you that i have been playing RTTS every year for 12 years. I have said many time I am tired of watching line drives over my head, ball being caught and played by my team mates and screamers I can't possibly get to as well as base runner stealing and the catcher doesn't get the ball to me. If you are real close to the bag when you press the base button he will go to it but if you are not close he should throw the ball. It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong.

There's a setting called fielding assist. You have yours on. If you have a non diamond or gold D playing first, the annimation will have them get the sure out at first before anything else.

I’m in the 2029 season and still get a good amount of boss challenges

The only way I was able to beat that dreaded hitting streak punch hit situation was to turn off auto save after every game. So I just saved manually (which sucks) but it came in handy when I had a 53 game hitting streak and I came into a game in the bottom of the eighth for that at bat. So I just replayed that day like groundhogs day and now I beat the record lol

I’m having the same issue since late September of my first year. Went all through Spring Training and I’m in June & have only gotten Clubhouse and Rivalry in months. Really frustrating! I’ve got changes I’d like to make & I’m stuck. Wondering if I need to just abandon this player and start over.

BTW, I have a really fun pitching career going at the Veteran level and recommend it to anyone, it's more satisfying to me than facing the vagaries of hitting on The Show.

So what does it say about RTTS that were created in this version of thegame not loading?

Personally I equip all my player right after the showcase. i mainly do it for cosmetics, the name brands look better than the generic. The boost for me is just gravy.

I bounced around at the beginning of my career statistically but I have found pitching to be a better experience at the veteran level than as a hitter. In my current successful career I think I spent a season as a reliever for the big club before they gave me consistent starts.

Depends where you were in your windup, that is, whether you had made that last punch on the controller. If so, it could project anything out. When pitching particularly it sometimes seems certain outcomes are scripted or, maybe more accurately, it makes it very difficult to avoid the outcome the AI wants. But that's probably a different issue than yours.
