Just played a good game against a superior opponent and wanted to msg him 'GG'.

But the name that is current under my Recently Played tad on the console is someone that I never played.

I tried searching by his PSN ID. But even though I can pull him up in the Standing tab in the game; his PSN ID doesn't come up.

What was the final score of the game?

1-0

He was in the game last year, but unfortunately is not in 24.

In my experience... "Extreme Pull" cards (i.e. Griffey Jr, Betts, Blackmon, Carpenter, Belli, etc) have a quicker swing and are able to turn quicker on inside FBs (a pitch that a lot of users throw in online H2H). Contrarily, "Push" hitters do well going the other way and have an advantage making good contact with away stuff.

That makes sense to me. I never thought of it that way. I can’t be sure which players have that quirk because I never looked at it; however, I do hit well with the ones you have listed.
Do you feel Trout’s swing has changed this year?

It could be anybody from any team and I wouldn't mind if they went that route instead of going with the obvious names who might already have a high-end diamond. Even if he was a mess for most of the year, as a Yankees fan a 99 Finest Clay Holmes would be more welcome than the second or even third 99 Judge/Soto.

One of the biggest complaints about the last few games has been repeat cards of the same few names throughout the year. Realism is out the window with DD anyway. Spread the love.

Judge and Soto need to have finests. The best players from every team absolutely should have them.

I know I am not the only one, but I like to use lineups of all the same series and ot having the best players available for a set like this is asinine.
However, the number of cards they can make isnt capped so if they double up like that thats where they can give bonus finests to guys like Gil, Cortes, Holmes (likely in line anyway), Rodon, Volpe, etc

Its the borderline guys that maybe dont need a finest because of a non pack recent 99, like Weaver. Alonso is another borderline guy that doesnt need a finest, he had a down year and he just got a very good card. But Lindor, manaea, and Vientos should all get finests regardless of their recent cards. Thats where Iglesias, Butto, etc come in for bonus cards.

Exactly. It would be nice to see, especially with some of the content creators being able to have their uniforms be even more unique to them.

The incentive is that if you're good enough to go Flawless; you can sell them for alot of stubs.

If you're not good enough to go Flawless and obtain them by completing the program, which some people find tedious or don't play online, then you get to use that card longer than someone who waited to buy them when they were cheaper on the market.
