Just sharing my limited experience in case it saves you money. I went from a 2019 samsung 60'' and bought a sceptre ultra wide gaming monitor. I did it about half way through the show 20... for me personally, my online stats have not seen any significant improvement even with improved players. I love the monitor for work because it is basically two screens, but for game play, i haven't noticed much myself. I don't think its timing for me, its just my hitting ability.

I wonder if his card has some of his special quirks? Hyper quick PCI movement but sometimes a bit jittery. Sprints out of the box but possibly falls over dead between first and second base. Could be a fun card!

Ya that makes sense. Kent was a heck of an offensive threat. Prime Rolen was a beast.
What separates them is Rolen is one of the greatest defenders ever.

That's true. Kent exceeded on the offensive side while Rolen was equally good both offensively and defensively.

I still dont quite understand why we are comparing them though, as has been brought up earlier. They played different positions, for different teams, and not over the exact same timeframe, although they did overlap for the majority.

I don't get why either. Just commenting on both players made by the OP.
And no, Rolen wasn't equally good defensively. He was 10 times better defensively. There are maybe only 2 or 3 better in history defensively at his position.

You're right that I shouldnt have said equally good as it discounts his defensive abilities. I meant that he wouldve been a diamond hitter/diamond fielder.

Kent wasn't good defensively.. quite bad actually. -52 DRS, -30.6 UZR just after 2002 when they started tracking these metrics.
Granted most of that bad defense came at the end of his career... He was probably closer to average in the first half.

I know... I was talking about Rolen being diamond/diamond.

me too! I more or less have a good plan in place with all my batters now with Kluber, can usually square him up pretty decently unless I'm just going against a dude that really pitches well. Just don't see Hal enough and most of my OP bats are left handed so he is definitely a big problem for me.

I like Marsh. Closest comp for marsh is a better fielding and speed, less power version of Soto. Vision is similar to Soto as well.

I just got to use Chipper last night when I attempted 3rd inning showdown. The guy absolutely raked. He almost single handidly won each challenge for me. Hit a dinger in the first four challenges that I was able to use him. Went deep in final showdown and hit a double 2nd time up. I went in to beat the showdown. Was the most enjoyable showdown experience I’ve had thanks to him.

They upped the fastball speed this year. It was long overdue. I'm "struggling" the same way you are.

You shouldn't feel hopeless over a game Striking out isn't that big of a deal - ask some of the highest paid players in the game You have to recognize your opponents pitch pattern in the first 3 innings and adapt for the next 6.

That said, I'm like 23-13 and at 734. I have never made WS and I doubt I do it this year, the hardest of years to hit a fastball.
