Honestly, if you’re looking to pick up a pitcher, that DOP Greinke is pretty nice, just sayin

Sell him. He hangs a lot of offspeed online for me. Plus his price won’t be this high for too much longer.
-
No no no lol, I’m only at stage 2 for 29 out of 30 teams, not almost to stage 3 with these teams.
-
I was using an Ethernet cable hahaha

Ok so I have spent money on the game, I realized my post came off misleading; what I meant was more money. I have also done showdowns 20+ times, 5-7 full March to October’s, 29 out of 30 teams to stage 2 TA, and every player program except Blake Snell. Also at approximately 430 P-Stars if that matters.
-
Update- 3 games out of 4 now. Just checked my WiFi and that doesn’t be the issue either. This is getting kind of ridiculous at this point.
-
Edit when I say “ball hit into play”- let’s say a groundout as an example. When the next batter comes up, they let the animations play out to elongate the game and apparently through some voodoo cause me to disconnect
-
Ok I’ve played 3 games in a row now and 2 I have gotten the loss on a disconnect. From what I can gather, what they do is not press buttons after a ball is hit into play and let the game run without any interaction. I am not sure how to prevent this from happening as both parties have to interact in order for the game to proceed.
Is there any way to prevent this or stop this from happening? Is this an issue SDS can resolve? -
So I am down to just Bellinger and Trout left. Honestly don’t know how it’s possible to get them without spending money on the game (My guess would be buying stubs at the next stub sale). BR is brutal, my best finish was 10-2. I believe I’m in Division Series (700, correct?), so World Series is pretty far, and I’ve also tried flipping cards and it’s worked decently well, but in all honesty I am just way too impatient to sit through and flip to get enough stubs to purchase the two cards. Those are the only methods that I am aware of to get any kind of major “stubage” in the game. Does anyone know of anyone other way?
-
Absolutely. That shiny blue image is so mesmerizing, it almost puts me in a trance. Idk what the deal with it, but when I see it I’m in love and want more
-
How do you see this transaction history for cards that are not in your possession?
-
One thing I think the game could reasonably do is implement technology they already have in the game towards online play: Umpire personalization. You get a different umpire for each hame, and each has their own, personalized strike zone. That way it adds variance to the game, and because the strike zone is not automatic, I believe this will also limit the number of check swings, as I’ve noticed that issue has grown considerably of late as well.
-
You did. SDS removed it in either 1.11 or 1.10, can’t remember which one.
-
Honestly very annoyed at the fact that the innings you play no longer count toward the 250 inning TA missions
-
@sersimpleton No you should have checked you’re grammar their!
-
Somewhat related to check swings, but has anyone else noticed that on perfect pitch releases there are an abnormally high number of swing and misses, compared to a just early/just late pitch release that might actually be placed in a better spot (relative to the situation)?

Automatically applied

I mean how dense can you be to put out two 95+ cards that play the same position in the span of 5 days? I mean you could’ve moved the dates around for releasing cards, made his primary 3B, anything to make it seem like you’re not just lazily choosing cards to release; yet they choose to put out another shortstop and wonder why he’s been out for an hour and his value is 60k. Absolute malarkey.

@T_H_O_R_Storm To incorporate your idea, we could do similar to what madden does. A 10 game season- you win X number of games to qualify for playoffs (Can get a bye to skip WC game, based on # of wins in regular season ). Then one game playoff for WC, DS, and CS before World Series. Then you get demoted to next rank or promoted based on number of wins in that system, losses don’t hurt your rank necessarily but you could fall to a lower tier.

One of my other least favorite animations is when an outfielder who is clearly not going to make a play but you run behind the ball to cut it off, decides to go all out- lunge, Miss the ball and cost your team additional bases.
