@TheBigPapa55_PSN Hahaha. Differences of opinion. It's all good. I get where you're coming from. I just disagree and would like to be able to play one of my favorite games too.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN Well, I'm glad you know everything and apparently know just how many people cheat in MLB The Show. People like you need to face the reality. Consoles are dying out. I just switched from Xbox to PC and I don't see myself looking back. You want to blame someone for the cheating and the porting of games to PC? Take a look at Xbox and PlayStation and the decisions they're making to alienate their player base. They're practically shoving people over to PC because of terrible business decisions and greed.
I don't know about you, but I don't have time to sit at home all day and play video games. And I'm [censored] sure not going to pay ridiculous monthly fees just to play games online.
Y'all conveniently forget that anti-cheating software exists. That's why games like COD and Battlefield have successful PC ports. MLB can easily implement said software.
And even if they don't, who really cares? Unless you get paid to sit and play MLB The Show for a living, it really doesn't have an impact on your life. Y'all want something to whine and cry about. You crave attention and want to feel special because MLB The Show is one of the last remaining console exclusive games. But the world isn't all about you.
Go outside and touch grass every once in a while. You'll quickly realize that there are far more important issues going on in the world than people cheating on an online game.
And maybe if MLB The Show were an online only game, I would take you people more seriously. But a lot of people like myself like to play The Show for the single player modes.
I don't know what to tell ya. The console wars are over and all of you clinging to your console exclusives are going to have to suck it up and get with the times. If a new Xbox even comes out, it's going to be a PC hybrid. And if you don't think PlayStation will follow, you're incredibly naive. Look at the decisions PlayStation is making now. They're following Xbox's lead. They are porting their exclusives to all platforms. How long do you think that's going to last before people realize they don't really need a PlayStation either? -
@RAisEdByGoAt_XBL I believe that would all depend on what kind of setups people have. I don't have a typical PC. The Rog Ally X is a handheld gaming PC. Think of the Nintendo Switch, but with a windows operating system. So I would be using a controller. As far as everyone else, it would be personal preference between keyboard/mouse and a controller. I think that is a pretty decent proposal there. I think if they could be strict about cross platform multiplayer, it could work. I wouldn't mind having to face just PC players if it meant that I also get to have the game. I think surely there has to be some middle ground that we all can come to in order to enjoy the same game.
It was a difficult decision for me to ditch consoles. I grew up a gamer and have had the original PlayStation, the PS2, the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, and finally the Xbox Series X. But greed is ultimately what has pushed me to PC. Requiring people to pay monthly fees to play games online is something I'm just not okay with anymore. And I bought the Rog Ally X so I can play it anywhere I want. I can take it to work and play it during lunch. I can travel with it and play it on the go. If I'm visiting family, I can take it with me and play without having to worry about transporting my whole setup. And PC has steam, which is an amazing storefront. They always have sales and everything is located in one place. So for me, it's the best of both worlds. It's more cost efficient and it's more convenient for my daily life.
