@rubicante23_PSN Yeah im happy with the game but I'll probably get burned out and move on in another month or two. I dont know how people can focus on just one game for a whole year.

Ive had my all 99 god squad get completely annihilated by someone just screwing around with a team of bronze and silver players. Better cards help but if you're actually good at the game then they don't matter nearly as much as people think. Super teams are overrated

@Sarge1387_PSN Back then I was brand new to the game and would have absolutely hated your suggestion because I couldn't handle anything above veteran. But now, yeah that sounds pretty fair.

These 'im moving on to another game in the fall' posts aren't quite the threat that you all seem to think they are. Most of the player base is casuals who already left months ago. If you bought the game at launch and you're still here grinding out content in July then SDS is absolutely thrilled with you. Youre not sticking it to them by leaving now. The only message you've sent is 'There's another happy customer!'

I do fine with curveball pitchers. You just can't expect to be successful spamming it like an idiot. Pick your spots, mix in your other pitches and hit them with a curve in a random location when theyre least expecting it, and watch the strikeouts pile up

So now we're not just complaining about current issues, but also preemptively complaining about issues that don't exist yet? This fanbase is so toxic. I swear to god haha

I got a choice between two Phillies live series diamonds. Could have been better, but im not complaining about a free 7k stubs

Well at least the timing of the network problems worked out for me. Im caught up on everything except the event program, but I already have all the June spotlight cards so that's skippable. I was honestly planning to take a break and play other games until the next major content drop anyway.

I use those pitches as an early test to get a good feel for the level of challenge I'm dealing with. Good hitters will almost always crush the first one I throw, and when that happens I'll avoid throwing another. But if you fall for it and whiff, then you can expect a steady diet of high heat all game long.

Come on, guys. Why are you so worried about some shrinkage? I WAS IN THE POOL!

@PriorFir4383355_XBL Are there any noticeable improvements or changes to dynasty mode this year? I already have 25, and I don't see the point of buying 27 if it's just the same exact thing with a roster update.

I like it when my player slumps from time to time because it leads to more realistic stats. I actually try to make that happen intentionallly by playing on dynamic difficulty, which causes me to go on hot and cold streaks as the game becomes harder or easier.

Higher odds = the best cards going for much cheaper on the market = a lot fewer players buying stubs, which is probably how SDS makes most of their money. It sucks that good cards are harder to pull but I get it.

SDS would also probably get flooded with complaints from players who made a dumb trade and regretted it later.

Sounds like it's a good thing that I procrastinated and haven't gotten around to finishing 40 TB with Mauer on HOF yet. Lucky me I guess lol

@Sarge1387_PSN I vaguely remember there being a lot of complaining from online only players back then, because even with the higher requirements the ability to grind on rookie meant earning the cards offline was still a much faster method for most.

You actually can 'play your own way'. The problem is that people misunderstood what they meant. Whether you play offline or offline, there are more than enough obtainable cards to put together a formidable lineup that's capable of handling whatever challenges you throw at it. But did you really expect them to design a game that gives all of its rewards to players who are only willing to engage with some of its content? To my knowledge, no developer in the history of gaming has ever done that.

@rubicante23_PSN Fair point, but CFB's lack of an ultimate team mode that's worth playing makes it a much bigger issue. Unless there's some cool new stuff I can do in 27's dynasty mode that I can't already do in 25, then I'll pass.
