The other day I did a Google search for 'how to beat the market bots in mlb the show 26' and their AI thing actually had some pretty helpful tips. I recommend everyone check that out and give it a shot.

I usually try to stay positive about the game and in general I think a lot of the complainers go overboard, but on this one issue I gotta grab my pitchfork and join the angry mob. Bots in the market have gotten ridiculous and I really wish they'd do something about it. Flipping has been a frustrating experience this year.

I normally avoid cards like this because I'm terrible at hitting so I usually struggle with low vision hitters. I do need a better catcher though so I might give him a try.

I dont buy packs, and I dont open them with the expectation of getting a card that I need. So if I get a duplicate my reaction is just 'oh cool. Free stubs.' It's much easier to just save up and flip my way to what I want without relying on packs.

@Pergo_MLBTS I don't understand the complaints about offline play. I'm an offline player and I usually have plenty of stuff to do. And when I don't, I do something wild and crazy that a lot of players apparently have never considered. I take a break and play a different game for awhile, or maybe just go outside to touch some grass!

It's funny how people always whine when the game doesn't provide enough content to play 40 hours a week like its their full time job, even though it pretty much does if you remember that there's a lot more to the Show than just DD.

The Community: The content is so repetitive! We're sick of the same exact thing every year!

Also the Community: Hey, when is the shark map coming out? Ooh, I wonder who the next big collection reward is!

I don't know why they haven't figured out how to fix their game yet. I mean all they have to do is just browse the forum and they'll learn that there's way too much content, but also not enough content.

We're really just sick of content being exactly the same every season but also "hey, when is the skark map coming? You better not forget about Finest!"

Oh, and we demand swift punishment for all cheaters who got cards that they didn't earn. But also pay close attention to the dozen posts where we demand compensation in the form of cards or stubs that we didn't earn either.

It's really not that hard to figure out, SDS. Get it together, guys!

@Teak2112_MLBTS I do, but only because I'm always off on Fridays. This one just happened to fall on Juneteenth. If it didn't then I'd be at work as usual.

Probably an unpopular opinion around here, but I honestly don't care about the whole glitch "scandal". I don't support cheating and I hope the people who did it receive some sort of punishment, but beyond that why should I get all upset about something that had absolutely zero effect on me? I was actually offline that day and didn't know anything had happened until it was all over anyway.

"But they got all those cards for free and I had to grind for them!" The grind is the fun part for me. If I was able to easily get the best cards right away, I'd be excited for about five minutes but then get bored and completely lose interest in the game.

"But it gave them an unfair advantage online!" I don't play online. Don't care.

"But their teams are better than mine now and I'm jealous!" I barely have enough free time to manage my own lineup. I'm not worried about who other players have.

"But they messed up the market!" And it was back to normal within a few days.

So yeah, I'm not a part of the glitch mob. If they all get banned, that's cool. If they don't, that's cool too. It's just a stupid videogame. Isn't important enough to get all worked up over.

I played all day with zero connection issues. The menu lag is even gone now. Whatever your problem is, I don't think it's the game this time.

Everything is running great on my end. The menu lag was really bad a few days ago, but whatever they did while the game was down for a couple hours seems to have almost completely gotten rid of it. I've had no issues since then.

I find it amusing that the forum is filled with 'i hate this game!' posts and also 'Waah why did the servers go down?' posts. If the game is so terrible then why do you care if its up and running? You all confuse me lol

I'm not currently stuck on any moments but earlier this year I had a lot of trouble with one that I didn't see many mentions of at the time. For whatever reason, the Travis Hafner homerun moments in his cornerstone program drove me absolutely crazy. Took weeks before I finally got that stupid card.

Did anyone happen to catch a glimpse of what cards are in it before the servers all went to hell? I'm curious

Why so much complaining about the game going down? I thought you all decided weeks ago that it was the worst thing ever and you're never playing again anyway. Be more consistent, Community! lol

So I just got into the game for the first time since the update, and at least on my end all traces of menu lag seem to have completely disappeared. Even the showdown drafts are running smoothly. Hopefully this means they fixed the problem. Fingers crossed, guys!

Cards in this game are obviously meant to emulate real baseball cards, and I dont know about you all but ive probably opened thousands of packs in my life without ever pulling a single one thats actually worth money. So in my experience, SDS odds are actually a lot better than they could be lol

Rookie on mini seasons is about the same to me. Diamond quest rookie on the other hand does seem a little more difficult.

On my end the menu lag has been pretty minor for most of the year, but suddenly in the last couple days it started getting really bad. I tried to do some flipping this morning, but it was taking like five or ten seconds for the game to recognize it when I hit buy or sell. I'm on PS5 and use Tmobile for my internet.
