I don't think SDS intended for us to be able to have our RTTS Ballplayer that we grind from day ones stats to be able to carry over, to ensure the value of the cards on the market, not untill they release a few more programs and entice people to buy more cards, and then they'll "fix" the ovr carrying over. I don't think their intentions with this new feature was genuine,.... I have grinded over 50+ hours in RTTS and I'm only a 82 ovr and DD a 65, 20+ hours I played RTTS didn't even count towards my progression...

Does your DD ovr change from 65 or is it still glitched at it's default ovr

And SDS hasn't came out and made an official statement on it, they striaght ignoring everyone's comments

What makes me most upset us everyone has this issue, no content creator, twitch streamer, youtuber, anyone I've seen okay this game have a DD Ballplayer over a 65 ovr regardless of the RTTS ovr, mines an 82 OVR ive played 50+ hours, and for atleast 20+ hours my progression towards my archetype goals weren't even being counted

@whiskeyone_psn said in Why can't anyone progress their DD Ballplayer over 65 ovr:
It's broken. I've been getting zero progress towards Ballplayer in RTTS since early release. There are also lots of bugs. Like not showing stats properly, changing Ballplayer appearance back right after you change something, etc.
I actually like the idea behind the Ballplayer and connecting it to DD ( so when we have these inevitable server issues even months from now I can still play something offline that helps me in DD.).
But the execution of this idea couldn't be worse, and you don't even get ballplayer progress in RTTS when you are online lmao. Can't make this stuff up.They need to seriously address this, legitimately their number one mode, a mode that legit in it if itself is apart of the title of the game, and that very mode is broken, progress is the most important thing in a game and without it you're wasting your time, and times money allot of people took off work or made sure they where freed up to be able to play this game, the condition this game is in, is a huge FU to their loyal and new fanbase, horribly bad first impression as an xbox user

Also yes ik there's gear but it's meant to be a tool to max out your overall, it's not gonna bring you up from a 65 ovr to a diamond , it has to be a glitch's and SDS needs to address it

I've logged 45+ hours into RTTS and 20+ of those hours my progress towards my Ballplayer program wasn't even being counted so it was a waste of two days playing. Then once I finally get my RTTS Ballplayer to a 81 when I go back into DD my Ballplayer is still at a 65 OVR even after I did most of all my DD Ballplayer program Goals, didn't even go up once still the default 65.

Everyone who keeps making excuses for a company with various resources at hand to test their game out, and to hire other companies to legit load their servers testing it's strength, you're the reason these companies feel no need to waste money on those resources or feel pressured to release a complete game, you have to understand The number one mode in MLB the show history, is unplayable.... the vary mode that's partly in the title of the game itself....Progression is everything in a video game, and time is money, you catering to the big business instead of holding them accountable for waisting allot of it's fanbase time and money, I took time off to enjoy this game that I couldn't play, you don't know what other people's personal situation is, if you pay money for something how is it the consumers responsibility to be patient if the product doesn't work, some of you need to have some self respect and not let these big companies off the hook
Starting to think your RTTS ballplayer in DD not being able to get higher than a 65 is intended and not a glitch
MY workaround for RTTS
RTTS AND DD
RTTS AND DD
