I think one reason Live Series prices are so high is because players are earning a ton of stubs through Diamond Quest, flipping, and smart investments. Packs aren’t worth ripping right now because Chase and Headliner cards just aren’t tempting enough.

So instead of opening packs and selling extras, people are sitting on stubs or buying and holding Live Series cards. That kills supply and drives prices up.

The problem is MLB The Show overreacted to all the pay-to-win complaints. Packs got nerfed, and now the market’s out of balance. Chase and Headliner cards need to be juiced again or the whole system stalls.

I wish SDS would adjust pitches out of the zone to be closer to the zone. It seems like when the CPU misses, it’s not even close to the strike zone. It’s hard to improve your eye for pitches if half the pitches aren’t even competitive. I don’t mind the cpu throwing balls though. A pitcher isn’t going to throw strikes as long as the batter swings at balls.

I wish I could use peanuts to purchase a percentage boost for rewards. It would be cool if 1000 peanuts increased the reward chance by 1% or something.

Maybe they should just add into the multiplayer programs things like “5 completed event games”, or br or ranked to encourage people to not quit mid-game. It’d make it easier to finish other objectives like saves, etc but also reward people if they are outmatched to hang in there for points to compete the program.

This year has been great for my guitar playing. I’m actually happy Diamond Dynasty has been so lousy. A lot more time for other hobbies.

As far as subbing out the captain, has SDS ever stated how the captain was supposed to function in a 3 inning game? Somewhere they talked about the captain having to be in for 6 inning for a 9 inning game, but I don’t remember anything about how the boost was intended to work in a 3 inning game.
