I got my PS4 back in 7th grade but I won’t be buying a PS5. Next year I’m going to begin college, and while it may be nice to have some sort of fun hobby, I’d imagine new games will still release for the PS4 for the next couple years. By the time my current console is irrelevant, I hope to be starting my life in the real world, working a real job, hopefully getting married young and starting a family.

Life just goes by quick. I remember when I first got my PS4, my first ever console, and playing MLB for the first time. Nowadays, I just don’t feel like I have the same enjoyment for video games as a whole, just growing up and moving on with life.

It’s the last roster update so I thought I’d post some of my predictions. It’s only gonna be playoff teams and I think these should be pretty much layups.

To Diamond:
Giancarlo Stanton really has to get it after missing the ALDS card he deserved. Even though he was injured, during a short season he deserves it for a historic, record breaking playoff performance. In addition I think all his playoff home runs besides one we’re off righties and his power vs righties is lower than it should be (88) and certainly his contact vs lefties (61). This is my strongest Diamond bet so far.

Springer is my sleeper pick, doesn’t deserve it over Stanton

Max Fried is possible if SDS really wants to go out with a bang update.

To gold:
I think Randy Arozerena will go gold from bronze and I’m actually quite confident on this one too, the theme of this year has been big jumps and his made himself known.

To silver :
As a silver I like Urquidy but this isn’t as good as an investment as others

Just dont fall into the line with the flock. Dont ever feel you have to graduate, go to College, get married, have kids, ect. Do what feels right at the time. If you arent ready for something dont do it because everyone else does. Enjoy life.

I’ve kinda always wanted to settle down and marry young. A lot of that will be determined by how I’m doing financially, but I have a feeling it’ll work out. As for the path I’m on now, I’m pretty-sure I’m mostly doing what I want and not what I’m pressured into. My parents were both very smart people, but one thing they’d always teach is that there is dignity in hard work, and that even if you don’t go to college, the plumbers of the world are still more than necessary members of society.

With that being said, I just love to learn and interact with people, part of the reason I know college is right for me. Really excited just to start having more control over my own life and working on things that I know will make me happy and make me a better person.

I honestly think it’s a crime that Stanton didn’t get a card for his performance too. I get that he has a HRD card but it’s quite expensive, maybe an MVP coming up?

I definitely think he should and will go Diamond though

I've been waiting for a 99 Stanton card. But heck, I want to see a 99 Manny Ramirez and you know that's not happening. Even if it was his Cleveland card, I would want it. But same said for a 92 Diamond Carlos Baerga!

It’ll probably be a 98-99, regardless I really am confident on his diamond LS, dude dominated literally historically this postseason

Unrelated but for those wondering I’ll be studying Business Management with a minor in Finance or Economics, but it’s not set in stone, I’m aiming for a 4-year BA in some sort of business. Got a 1420 SAT after prepping a ton, and am going to likely get accepted to all the colleges on my list, as I didn’t really apply to any reach schools.
