How are you “forced” to do anything?

I think flipping is a waste of time and would rather just play the game... but that's MY opinion. If people enjoy flipping, then do it. You bought the game to play it your way - your money, your time.
I will never be affected by this 20 card max, and I think it's better to have super expensive live series cards. The collection should be and end goal, not something that needs to be done in the first week. But at the same time, you have to let the market be what it's gonna be. Once you start trying to control certain aspects of it, it goes downhill. There's absolutely no reason to limit someone from having any number of cards. I also think there shouldn't be set price min/max for each rarity. Let cards cost what they cost, and let people buy what they buy. Imagine owning a small house in a sought after area, and only being able to sell it for 100k, because that's the forced limit of houses that size? Not the greatest example...

@Ditka06_MLBTS I've been feeling like hitting is easier than in the past, especially considering I haven't played since... September?
A specific thing I'm noticing is feeling like balls that usually go foul, land just inside the line

@TripleH-4481_PSN
Yea, but you're putting your own spin on what "realistic" means. I'm specifically talking about results, not the game itself. Even "juiced up players along side Babe Ruth" are going to succeed roughly 30% of the time (ok, maybe 35%). -
Hot take: I think we are the problem, not the hitting. Baseball is a world where you're awesome if you succeed 30% of the time in hitting. A good portion of that 30% is a combination of ground balls up the middle, bleeders, and bloops. Obviously we all know "this isn't real baseball", but it's trying to be as close as possible. Therefore, your batters SHOULDN'T be hitting .400+. That isn't realistic, but you're used to it. People in the highest tier of WS playing on legend, are still hitting anywhere between .250-.450 with ERAs between 2.5-6.5. This seems par for the course.
I get it; the reason you're playing on rookie is to sit back, relax, and mash - no judgement there. But you have to see this from the developers' perspective too, with the goal to achieve more realistic results.
To contradict myself (even though I am someone who would rather play the CPU on All-Star than Rookie, and strongly prefer online to offline), I do find it unfair that they added a difficulty to accommodate the most skilled players (GOAT) while simultaneously apparently raising the difficulty of the lowest tier. While it doesn't affect me, you shouldn't accommodate one extremely select tier and not the other.

@GoozeFn_PSN
That’s just not true though. By definition, RS is the most sweaty mode. At least in BR there’s a fairly consistent matchmaking system -
@trfatboy22_PSN
Again, not in events or BR. The answer is in front of you; it's not a flaw if you don't like it.I'm trying really hard not to sound condescending, but if multiplayer is too hard for you, then you need to get better at the game in order to obtain multiplayer-specific rewards...
-
@GoozeFn_PSN
Too sweaty to win 1 out 6 games? Because that's the equivalent of going .500 in RS, in terms of trying to achieve saves. -
@trfatboy22_PSN
No, it doesn't. You're saying it's a flaw in the multiplayer program. Claiming there's a flaw in a program you have clearly no desire in participating in or committing to, gives you no credibility.If you want all the rewards, play all the game.
-
@trfatboy22_PSN
Your lack of desire to play specific game modes has no bearing on the situation. -
Yea... saves was the least of my concern with this missions. If you're trying to get them is RS, you're gonna get frustration. A couple BR runs should do it though - almost no one quits in BR. Theoretically speaking, you can get 3 saves in BR/events for every 1 save in RS.
Like someone said, the strikeouts are the real problem. Every now and then I can get 10 in an RS game. But in BR/events, I feel like I average 1 a game
-
To be fair... starting with MLBTS19 as your base is not going to help...
-
Yea, generally speaking, most people will hit better off random event pitchers, than they will off of meta pitchers. I know I hit WAY better in events/BR than I do in RS.
-
You'll complete most of the missions while just normally playing the game...

Wait, so the complaint is that you actually have to move the PCI to hit home runs, resulting in the game being LESS fun?
Here I am thinking actually playing the game was MORE fun...

@TubaTim90_PSN with that logic you might as well play last year’s game, it was better. Then you can play your game after your dinner.
Swing and a miss.
-
Even if it's literally the same exact game, with updated rosters, $60 is a good deal to pay every year. You seen the price of eggs?!
Seriously though. You could spend the same amount on a dinner out, and the only thing you'll have the next day is the runs. In terms of price per minute. you really can't beat it. Besides, you're clearly wasting mental energy thinking about a game you're actively not playing... just go play it.
