Whoever came up with that idea of the 4th Inning Fathers Day structure, should either be fired or never allowed to do it again. Did they even test this out? I mean test it for frustration and waiting for loading time. I mean they say to get a hit in a game but it is more of an at-bat. And Most times if you miss the first time you're resetting the challenge anyway. I understand the grind but the grind is waiting time for everything to load. More time is wasted in loading than playing. Please NEVER do this again. There has to be an easier way to get the challenges in and let us grind it out in a fun way.

I write this as I wait through the reloads and I play for 10 seconds and wait minutes in between re-loads, then I get back and the pitcher throws it to first four times before throwing a pitch. Or I have one at-bat and get hit by a pitch. Or there is never a pitch thrown over the plate to get an extra-base hit. And guess what I waiting again for everything to re-load. Sometimes the gameplay just needs to play for the mode, let us just have fun playing and not waiting.

Sorry but I'm curious what others think about this? And maybe SDS will read this. Fat chance that will happen.

I always thought that was cheesy. Seems some of them use the same image for years now. But at the same time, I see that same thing for other topic channels too. Must have been a cool thing at one point. Kind of turns me away sometimes.

I only play offline and right now with no fix to the CPU throwing 95% balls, I am playing less. This has to be a record, for the fasted I am close to giving up on DD. Opening day hasn't started yet and DD might be a filler for when I am bored. Might head over to RTTS till rosters are updated and then move to Franchise. My prefer mode, but with very little update there, I’m not running to it. With the flash screens, poor font choices, and all the other little things, this might be the worst first two plus weeks with the game ever for me. And to be honest, the gameplay (grind in DD), burnt me out years ago, so I really think SDS has to stop with the same thing every year with very little big additions. And don't tell me Story Line is an addition. It is just moments organized. Ok, my vent is over, at least for today.

I am done with the game for the night. And if this weekend is anything like last I might not play this weekend. Maybe detox myself from the game and do something else in life that doesn't stress me out, like the server issue does. You play video games to relax and enjoy yourself, not with MLB the Show 21.

1. If something is already 100% done, it shouldn't show on the end of game Progress.

2. With that, the end-of-game Progress page should be scrollable. You should not have to quit and go to the Team Affinity section, scroll to the players progress to see where you are at. Way to many steps to just see what should be on the end of game progreess.

3. Maybe it's just me and I have a bad day, but the gameplay seems not on par with the level. The veteran seems to be All-Star. I have seen others talk of that for other parts of the new update but I haven't tried them yet. Just my thoughts.

I have only played DD right now, but in past years, I always used the L2 to track the ball better and to watch the play closer as the player ran the bases. Moving the right stick is too slow to catch things happening. Does anyone know? Maybe there is a setting I missed? I thought I went through them all, but I could be wrong.

The 40-point seems like false advertising to me. Basically, no one will get the full 40 points unless they played non of the moments and bought all the cards needed. SDS is in the snake oil business now. They need to explain that upfront on some rules page. Not happy. Time is just ticking for me to stop playing The Show for the season. Franchise is nothing new, RTTS and MTO are the same and DD is well getting close to the garbage bin.

To comment an @Superpumper1_PSN, Well to me the issue has been one for years. We have been dealing with this way too long. You would think they would have the stress test done way before the launch. Plus the game came out late compared to past years. Yes, it has been a rough year for any company but the server should be their number one fix, knowing that every year it's the same thing. This game requires a connection to the server to play it like it is designed, well they should be ahead of the matter. The life of this game is designed around a calendar, there is a timer to complete things and those that want to have fun, start to get frustrated. To me, if the game is in my console, let me play and not have to deal with the server. There must be a way to play DD and leave the server out of it till it is fixed.

I just got the message on game 25. Seems that is a magic number. I am not looking forward to restarting if that is what I must do. Things like this make me quit DD for the year and move on to Franchise and RTTS. You grind your A@# off and just what to do what the game is designed to do and this happens. I hope they can fix this and I don't have to play 25 games to get the TA vouchers. Is there anyone that has gotten through TA Mini seasons and got the vouchers?

If they know this is happening, why are they not deactivating the mode and sending a message out? It would still be frustrating but at least you won't have to grind and not get to the reason for the grind.

They should shut down the mode till it's fixed.

I am getting sick of finishing a grind and BOOM the grind isn't recorded because of the stupid server. I have PS to play the game, don't really see why I have to always be connected. There has to be a way to play and upload the stuff after the fact. Seems that is where the problem is, always having to be connected.

Good I am not the only one that thought offline pitching had issue. Mini Seasons is a grind, fun at times, but only when you are not just walking all the time. I had five walks in a row, and won the game 1-0. And to top it off I only had one hit in the hole game. The patients thing is weird, becuase you are wating for somekind of good pitch to swing at, but after so many bad pitches, when the good one comes, I have fallen asleep at the plate. Every pitch should have me on the edge of where is might go. Pease fix this SDS. I only play offline.

How is anyone pulling Diamonds? I have been digging for some and even bought a 50 pack yesterday figuring I would at least get one low diamond. Nope, nothing, I have had to buy my diamonds and save for them, so the way prices are going on them, I figure by the time The Show 21 comes out I will have my collection complete. For that, I am not buying another pack until they make it you are guaranteed to diamond. I really thought I could get the Mantel, but it seems he will keep staring at me every time I go into collection hoping it looks different.

Most likely SDS is just putting bandaids on the server issues when surgery is needed. If they tell us that they are shutting it down for a few hours to completely fix the server, I would be ok with that. But they have to communicate with us on every social and media platform, to let us know the truth of what is going on. Blows me away they are not communicating with the people that pay their salaries. Maybe this is an opportunity for another game developer to create and new Baseball game that puts SDS to shame.

What I want are games that are ending 11-10. Let us both have a hitting feast. Even if I lost that game I would be happy that I was hitting the ball and not swinging too far over or under the ball. Plus what fun is a game that has a total of 5 hits in it after 9 innings, and the biggest hit is a single up the middle that drove in a run from two walks and it ends 1-0?

Working on the final game of the New Topps Now Moment, and I am sure you all know what happens? I really have had enough of this horse stuff. Well, I guess it is the weekend and no one is at the office to man every 10-minute server crash. I have said it a hundred times here, just communicate with us. It would make all this better if we are explained what is going on. Give us some guidance on what we should do and what to expect for however much time it will take to fix this. I am not a big gamer outside of this game but I sure a big title game has never had this much issue with their servers before.

This now is at is worse of all week. I can't even go to look at my 1st inning progress and try to return to the previous menu without getting kicked off. This has happened four times in the last 15 minutes.

I never want to hear Ramone Russell again say they are listening to the community until this server issue is fixed and we have to never go through this again. His comments mean nothing to me in the future till they are true.
