True. Why put all these bat flip and celebration animations in if you can never see them?

Now here' a post worth sharing!

I feel they’ve got the balance right. It’s a great mode and having us pay stubs ups the stakes. And you do make them back pretty easily even if you don’t complete them.

It's from two weeks ago so not sure how relevant it is now (it's also offline). But I've tried a few of the tips and I'm not pitching terribly.

I agree. I know its cheesy but this is why I don't start Kluber. If I really need the w I'm using him. Gagne's been good for me, though.

Players are right to be cautious the first time he's at the plate because he hits bombs. Once they realise you're trash then they adjust. It what happens to me anyway!

The more you face him the better you get at reading him. The more runs you score, the quicker he's pulled.

Drive by trucker is just amazing at the game so it doesn’t effect him. But I definitely agree. I had never lost a stage 2 showdown. But I’m only 50-50 on them now. Just lost a final showdown when I was only down 11-15. Didn’t get my first hit until 4 outs left. So many good-good and good-squared up outs.

Stage 2 showdowns are as easy as it gets.

No one can correctly say what is easy or difficult for other people. We get it. You find it easy. So what? You are not everyone.

Many, many people find them easy.

And technically, with Stage 2 being on Veteran, they are easy. It’s an easy difficulty.

I can see that happening regardless of content to come. This quarantine really helped the game in people playing, but on the flip side of that coin it'll burn people out faster. As an "essential" worker I'm working 5-6 days a week. Add into that time to spend with family after work, housework to do on your actual days off, and any other interests you may have. For those in my situation a lot of our time is already chewed up elsewhere, not a lot to go into playing this game. Helps the burnout factor. I'd say I probably get to play maybe 4-7 hours a week on average.

With a family, I've been playing far too much these last few 'lockdown' months. Some recent personal issues made me lose interest for a day (only a day! lol) but I logged on last night to try some of the Vizquel moments and couldn't bring myself to care. I can see myself gradually winding down now.

As a matter of fact yes (I am 43), Space Invaders, Asteroids, Pac Man, or my all time favorite (Donkey Kong). Much simpler time, no worries about being told to “git gud”, being hashtag wrecked or other crazy [censored].

My Dad was a hobbyist, we had a bit of money and he had a dedicated room with all of the aforementioned game cabinets among pinball machines, Atari, C64....

Only score I cared about was my previous best. Personally, it is hard for me to relate to a gamer mentality, or perhaps I see things differently.

"git gud". God I loathe that comment. If a blind man told you her couldn't see would you say, "Really, I see perfectly well."? If an insomniac told you they had trouble speaking, would you reply with, "Really? My head falls asleep as soon as it hits the pillow!"?
