Typically every year I would spend an additional couple hundred bucks on the game and it was always worth it to me. I would not have the greatest pack luck, but it seemed to gel with the odds presented. This year though, I am not even mildly tempted to spend a single dollar on packs. To say the pack luck is not close to the odds is an understatement and putting it very midly. I don't expect to get diamonds at every pack or even gold, but if I open packs from early release and the only ones I have are the ones purchased through the marketplace. That is not a fun experience, nor does it make you want to put any money towards getting nothing in return. Just wondering if anyone else deals with this too?

Love the smoothness and the look, it's going to be an awesome game. Below are some items that I noticed and hope they help.
- Universal DH added and no more pitchers hitting. They still hit in the Beta
- PCI Sensitivity option, I would like to be able to change and tweak the reactiveness to for my PCI
- Fielder urgency when making plays/throws, this seems to be something that keeps being overlooked. It was a little better but still was taking their time
- Fielders animations for fly balls, they seem to overrun simple fly balls and still make the catch like they want a highlight play.
- Stadium Lighting in certain stadiums interferes with baserunning information (speed, stealing ability) location of that and lights
- Win percentage meter is opposite. It was showing the other team had 80% chance to win even though it was 7th inning and I was up 7 to 0 over them
- Fielder overrunning balls that go to the wall or hit the wall. They seem to misplaced them completely for the AI, they just miss them but are in the right place to make a play
- Glitches that batter is standing on the plate for multiple pitches and pitch is going through him.
Everything is looking g good and I know this is not the final product, but I am excited with some gameplay I am seeing. Thanks for letting us test it.

Hit options when you have the game selected in the dashboard, choose Game version. Does it show both there?
I tried that, but it only keeps downloading the Tech Test Beta for the PS5 even though it says full version. The store will only let me purchase and doesn't have the free version either.

My understanding is that the disc must be in the machine no matter what version you want to play. Once the disc is inserted on the PS5, go to the PlayStation store and search for MLB The Show 21. You should see a PS5 version that has two price tags, “Free” and “69.99.” Choose the free version and it should start downloading. At least that it worked for me.
It only shows me the games for purchase and doesn't show a free version. When did that show up for you, the first time putting the disc in?

All,
Make sure you have the disc in and go to the tab at the top of the home screen for the game. Hit the options button and go down to the bottom of the menu where it says "choose version" and then select the PS5 version. It will put you into that version and you can hit the download button. That is what worked for me.
It keeps downloading the Tech Test Beta and not the Full PS5 game. Does anyone know why it won't go to the full game?

I still have nothing coming up for me. I have entered the code, put the disc in the PS5 and still it wants me to pay for the PS5 edition in the store. The whole reason I got the Jackie Robinson edition was it would have the digital upgrade code. Should I take the disk out and put it back in to trigger it?
