    Ballplayer Catcher
  • theforge98_PSNT theforge98_PSN

    Hey everyone.

Seen a couple of posts about this but I’m still confused.

I made a ball player, and I want him to be a catcher. I grinded RTTS to get him to diamond and one of the preferred positions of the loadout is catcher. When I go to put him in my lineup as a catcher in DD, he even shows up in the secondary position menu. His fielding rating is 80 and all the other peripheral stats are also fairly high.

So why on earth is he dropping a majority of balls behind the plate? Is this a known issue? Has anyone at SDS mentioned it at all? I looked through the patch notes and couldn’t find anything referencing this, and there have only been a handful of posts on this forum about it.

For more info: I chose the sparkplug loadout (specifically because catcher was a preferred position and I was a fan of the attributes), and ended up finishing with “The Hawk” loadout (which has every position as a preferred position). Hate to think that I wasted my time, but it seems more and more likely.
