Year in and year out (just like Madden), the soundtrack for MLB The Show is terrible. Aside from 2 specific songs, this soundtrack is horrendous, 18 & 19 were good, 23 was also good, but that's it. I honestly would just upload my own favorite songs to the soundtrack but now that's gone. That was a really cool feature and something we need in the game. Y'know, if this is a "fan appreciation" version of the game.

Enough with releasing all of the best cards through Chase Packs and 250k stub collections at the bare minimum. It's annoying and there only doing it to get you to buy stubs. The live series collection is expensive as it is since you raised the max price from 500k to 750k just to make profit from you buying stubs if you have a life and don't want to grind. We literally got a promise that the best cards in the game would be scattered throughout DD, but that's been a lie. It's either packs or collections just like last year and the year before (correction, not just like last year but quite similar).

Just sending my regards to everyone on the forums. Pray for my PS5 lol

Jose Bautista is Mine. FINALLY!!

Take this with a grain of salt:
Roger Clemens is like batting practice online no matter what card you throw. He's predictable and easy to track and doesn't have great stuff.
Byron Buxton has a meh swing. It's not universally liked or hated. It's 50/50.
Elly De La Cruz is the only really good reward here, but with the amount of shortstop options there isn't really a need.
As for Kenley Jansen and Carlos Santana, both are really good, but there are so many other cards and not many people want to run through a DQ where the only guaranteed chance is on GOAT difficulty. -
@SDS_JoeK_PSN
Joe I’d love to see your rankings given you’re the literal moderator of this forum. -
As much as I love MLB The Show, the downfall may be starting. I've been playing since 18 and it breaks my heart to see it gradually become pay-to-win and slowly only focus on Diamond Dynasty and forget about the other offline game modes, not that I play them too much but still. This part of the power creep makes or breaks the game, and if it continues on like this, hence the content drops earlier this week, it can't rebound. MLB has pretty much no alternatives. 2K stopped in 2013, and I think RBI baseball stopped in 2023. I miss the good 'ol days of the Show, but it seems like we're long past that. Is it time for an alternative baseball sim?

There was just no need to make this thread.

Add Mike Trout to the list, ladies and gentleman. He's here!

@Squid_Adams_MLBTS
Ngl bro is spitting facts -
Add a mini season with voucher exchanges (or give us a 99 that we can exchange) OR add a collection. This collection would be all the legends and flashbacks final rewards (Rolen, Williams, Bautista, and Donaldson) which would give us 70 points or so in the program (however make them individual collections instead of one big one to make it a bit easier).
@SDS_JoeK_PSN make this happen (by passing this onto the team with some conviction) -
I'm elaborating on another post from @akapaco159_MLBTS.
Realistic Commentary Booths
I don't even think Chris Singleton is a color commentator, and if he is, he definitely isn't with Jon Sciambi with the Cubs. Time to add some real broadcast booths like Joe Buck & Harold Reynolds (RIP Tim) or Joe Davis & John Smoltz or simply bringing back Matt Vasgersian and adding Buck Martinez beside him. Somebody other than the boring duo we've had since 22.
Realistic Walk-up Songs and Pitcher Entrances
Enough with this soundtrack that you literally won't here once at a baseball game. Time for SDS to try and get the rights to some actual songs you would hear like My Girl with Francisco Lindor, Narco with Edwin Diaz, Layla with Pete Alonso, Sweet Escape with Gunnar Henderson, Hells Bells with Ryan Helsley and Trevor Hoffman, ENTER SANDMAN WITH MARIANO RIVERA (if he ever comes back)
Ejections, Brawls, Challenges, and Double-Headers
Aside from plunking too many batters, give players and managers the opportunity to argue bad calls and get ejected. This is a realistic part of the game, why isn't it in? Depending on how long you argue, the chances you have of getting ejected go up. Give players or managers aggressive archetypes like Bryce Harper and Aaron Boone, making them more prone to arguments and ejections. Also, similar to NHL, give us the opportunity to charge the mound if a player gets hit intentionally and give us the opportunity to actually fight. At the very least, can the opportunity to challenge plays arise at places other than first base? At the very least, ADD RAINOUTS AND DOUBLE-HEADERS, SOMETHING THAT IS ACTUALLY IN BASEBALL WTF ARE WE DOING SDS.
More Classic Stadiums
I made a previous post about former MLB stadiums to be added into the game so I won't go into detail with this, but at least add a few more than the little amount of Classic stadiums we have.
These are just some things that SDS SHOULD add to the game. @SDS_JoeK_PSN please pass this along to the team. -
I agree wholeheartedly

I will be updating this daily...

@TheRupster12_XBL
I mean the Super Bowl is an American sport and they have a non-English speaking performer for the halftime show. I have no problem with Bad Bunny, but I agree - they should’ve gone with someone else. -

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN
Question: why do so many of you defend SDS with your lives when your only excuse is call criticism "hate?" We pay SDS $70 dollars annually. Therefore, we should have a right to express our feelings about the product we purchase as consumers. The product is objectively poor. I've gone over this way too many times and have broken this down already so I'm not going to waste my energy right now. It's not hate, it's disgruntled customers who have been buying quite frankly almost the exact same game since MLB The Show 21, hoping for some sort of change, and what do we get: patch notes designed under a new release. -
