For me it was Sutter and Kyle Wright. My friend had Adonis Medina as his final boss though so it probably varies
Same for me. Kyle Wright was a [censored] man... So happy I have him on my team

Lol, I don't know man. I just sold Cal Ripken for 7,000 stubs. I think it just depends on the golds.
@EvylShaun said in Is no one talking about CPU fielders?:
Everyone at SDS please avert your eyes. Don't read this guys post - don't let it detract from the fact that user controlled fielders still can't lock onto simple fly balls and the need for THAT to be fixed first.
Signed - Everyone who plays online.
Why can't they address both?
I'm seriously am sick and tired of every fielder that the CPU controls being a gold glove fielder. It doesn't matter who the person is or their ratings. It's absolutely ridiculous for pete's sake man...
Ignore the 1st 2 posters. Dude has been my best hitter so far. He's at around .370 for me, and I'm not even that good lol.
Yeah, for some reason I got it like 2nd try. Just power swing.
Yep. I'm seeing this too. I've actually given up on RTTS (at least as a hitter). Way too many games where my team is up like 7-0 in the 5th inning and then miraculously the other team will score 8 runs within 3 innings leading to us losing. It's not even fun at this point.

Imagine the rage if 1.09 drops and the patch notes say:
•Adjusted XP gains in various modes
But nothing about hitting, pitching or fielding 🤭
Probably is exactly what's going to happen.

Does RTTS reward bat skins?
I think when your player gets to 99 overall yes.
Really? Never knew. Almost there, my guy is at a 98 atm.
I gave up. It's not even worth it. That Jackie Robinson card isn't even that good. At least the Zimmerman card can be a good pinch hitter and isn't nearly stressful to get.
Honestly, no. The input lag in this game is still going to be horrendous unfortunately. But it should help at least a bit with hitting.
@ComebackLogic said in Here is how you earn the most XP::
I hope everyone does realise - From OP to everyone saying “delete this post!” and “reported!” - That XP gain is standardised across all modes? You get the same amount of XP per pitch no matter what mode you play.
Honestly, with the way SDS does things, don't be surprised if they patch this dude. OP, please delete thread to be safe.
@allmustfall16 said in Here is how you earn the most XP::
When they patch it. It will probably mess with the XP we get just for playing too.
So thanks OP. Even the people not abusing this will probably be affected by it.
Yep, OP delete ASAP. The people that know know. Please before they patch man.
I've been playing RTTS for fun and been getting a ton of XP per 5 minute game. Yes, you can get more xp grinding the HR derby, but I'd rather have fun while playing lol. I play as a SS and get anywhere between 300-800 XP per game (which lasts anywhere between 5-10 minutes usually).
@ImDFC said in Do stats on a card matter (mondesi wtf):
Any other "glitchy" swings? I think Soto is like this as well. the ball just flies when he hits it
FOTF Buxton is another one that plays above his rating. He's not as broken as Mondesi but he's a great alternative to Trout who also has great speed and amazing fielding. He plays more like a 96 overall (at least for me and many others I've read about).
@Soucy81 said in Is there a secret ELO rating in this game?:
Jumped into an event game the other day, just to do something different. I've only played 6 games of ranked. Got matched up with a WS player with a stacked team. Needless to say I got blown out, dude even brought in knuckle cheese free agent in the last inning to further troll me.
You have to be kidding me, really? I would have just quit after that. Come on now.
@Hoofartid said in Is there a secret ELO rating in this game?:
I'm sure there is but I have a feeling that a lot of folks, myself included, have simply moved off of the online frustration factory. I can now get my competitive fix in Showdown so why bother with the H2H nonsense? The lag, bugs and DDA is enough to institutionalize someone.
Lol good point. Honestly, the only reason I even purchased this game was because of the lockdown and I figure I may as well grind and team-build for fun. But man, this game is a mess tbh. Now I remember why I stopped playing last year's game. Oh well, I gave the game one last chance.
@Hoofartid said in Sds wtf are you waiting for? Revert the hitting back!:
I just don't understand why they purposefully make hitting, and by extension the game itself, significantly worse after the first week. They did the exact same thing last year.
I understand balancing DD later in the year to account for all-99 squads (though I don't agree with it), but why change it literally days after the full release? It was so good most people were able to look past the significant problems with pitching and fielding.
Could it be that the game was simply playing too well and they were afraid people wouldn't get frustrated enough with their current cards to purchase stubs/upgrade cards?
Every time I play someone in this new event they are always either World Series players or guys that have the skillset of a World Series player. Is there some kind of secret rating I don't know about that is making me match up with these guys?
I know for a fact there are users not on this level doing the event as well, and I have only played like 20 Ranked Season games total (a few of them ending due to network issues). Any insight would be great here.
Yes. He's the best FOTF card available.
