The problem is it would be yet another thing bots could abuse if it were in-game stats that made the stubs, or even booster players. They just need a general overall stub boost at game completion and it would solve the problem.

At least 200 stubs for a 9-inning win, they’re so stingy with stub rewards even in the XP path it’s weird.

As it stands, 1500 buys a show pack worth (typically) 75-125 stubs. Then complete a game and get like 10 stubs at reward screen for 45 mins of your time.

I feel if they push more completed games it’ll help kill the rage quitters, plus give incentive for playing a full game of baseball

Bots, Cheaters, Scripts….I don’t think any of those are going away anytime soon. I think it’s time they just flood the game with stubs so everyone can actually finish the live series & make it a fun rewarding grind again. Right now the cheaters are getting away with it - That happens all the time in life. Instead of spending all the time & energy on something they can’t fix - Fix what you’re able to. Make the game FUN for all the regular normal players!

You can go get this game today start a new account and spend 2 hours just doing programs and have a competitive team up to All-star or even HoF if you are decent. Don’t really play? Before Forza dropped, I had earned every pack from every program & mode in DD. I was still like a million stubs from completing live series. Only left to do would be to go full hamster on a wheel and keep playing the same mini seasons over and over and over and over again….That’s a terrible lack of content if you’re being required to either play 500 rounds of mini seasons or to be a fake stock trader 24/7 flipping for pennies. Flooding the game with earnable stubs is the only answer.

Then you are full of it. I did live series NMS and only about 89 pull I got was judge, never once flipped cards, and never went 10-0. You people complaining about lack of stubs and needing more stubs are disingenuous. You all just want MORE given to you and changing focus, instead of actually talking about REAL problems in this game. Like the fact it is completely RNG dependent and not consistent at all. The fact that SDS doesn't police or research cheating reports or put anti script software into there game. NO instead you cry about a fake problem that literally anyone who sat down and played for 2 hours would know is a false statement. I just played for 2 hours only ranked and went from 800 stubs to 20k. If I spent that same time on DQ or Mini seasons I'd be at 100+k.

We have just had different experiences I guess.

Lol this is a completely ignorant post about 2 completely different games. First off stubs for HR? Seriously, how would that even be a good idea? You'd just have people doing nothing but going in against the CPU on rookie and hitting tanks at Costco. This would effectively make EVERY single card more expensive. You'd be paying 50-100k for bronze cards. Next I just completely completed live series collection NMS. Only got lucky 1 pull with judge and collected him. You get sooooooo many packs from grinding it's not even funny. Did the new mural mini season on a 28 game 3 innings on All-star run and by the end had 200 different packs to open. So even if you pull nothing but silvers in those packs thats 5k stubs in just silver equipment and jerseys to sell. Then you end up with 12 ballin packs and get 1 low 400 stub gold oh another 5k just on those. And odds are you will get lucky and get something. So please stop with the complete disinformation, simply because you lack the information or ability to do the work.

Like how fun is racing against other Door Dashers to make food deliveries? When I first saw you can make coin by door dashing between races I thought it was cute - But it’s REALLY fun!

Literally just played a cheater. I was up 5-0 and he was swinging at EVERYTHING & getting shutout. Then comes THE PAUSE in the 6th inning. The rest is history lol. Couldn’t get him out & he mercied me. I think that’s what the majority of the cheaters do - Try to win on their own but then turn to their program to bail them out when they’re cooked.

THIS…DD used to be worth putting everything else on the back burner. It’s just not anymore.

The Show has always been my first priority in gaming. I’d never go play something else unless I was completely caught up on all grinding & had made WS that month. But now - I’m just done. It’s taking MUCH too long to build up stubs. And I feel like I’m just spinning my tires most of the time. I’m also tired of nothing being fixed - Even the easy stuff like why is the wheel still void of all visual effects? A couple months in & that’s still a thing? That bait & switch they pulled with Chipper? Unforgivable.

I love baseball so I’ll still play but it’s now just one of several games I’ll play going forward. Not letting it hog all my gaming time anymore. I’m just going to grind the free cards when they drop a new program & that’s it. Will then go play other games like I just preordered Forza. I’ll snag all the paywall cards when they post the forever program. F you SDS for ruining what was the undisputed king of team building modes in sports games. Now you’re no better than the rest. Seriously…Go F yourselves REALLY HARD.

First 2 weeks of the game I pulled ALOT of good diamonds. Pulled Jose Ramirez 4 times! Then it went dry. I haven’t pulled a diamond since. Dead serious, Not even a crappy diamond that sells for 3k.

I watched the YFK video just now. It’s caused me to think about if I want to continue playing The Show 26 like I have been (tons). Or do I just step back and become more casual?…I think that’s the winner. I’ll play but it’s just one of the games in my rotation going forward instead of being the game I play 75% of my time. It’s a shame but I’m not going to put in the time grinding to WS only to be constantly knocked down by losers who suck at the game lol
