I watched the YFK video just now. It’s caused me to think about if I want to continue playing The Show 26 like I have been (tons). Or do I just step back and become more casual?…I think that’s the winner. I’ll play but it’s just one of the games in my rotation going forward instead of being the game I play 75% of my time. It’s a shame but I’m not going to put in the time grinding to WS only to be constantly knocked down by losers who suck at the game lol

This is a video game & people aren’t just cheating by doing something here & there. They’re flat out loading into a game and then just laying their controller down & letting the programs do the playing for them…Ok but why? What are they getting out of it? Sure you get the WS rewards but you’re not earning the wins? Hell, You’re not even playing the game! …Like why would you load into game after game and not even play? It’s a video game that you’re not even playing. Just sitting there watching a program play. I don’t get it. I don’t get alot anymore though. People are just weird.

That's incorrect. He could cost time (in flipping) or skill (earning him via BR/Ranked/WC).

Those complaining about the cost are just too lazy to earn him the other ways.

I should be able to achieve everything in a video game by simply PLAYING THE GAME. I refuse to spend 12 hours a day flipping cards for a virtual currency to buy cards that last a short time. That is WAAAAY too much hamster on a wheel for me. I honestly miss the old days where if you wanted the best cards you could get them just by grinding the game. ZERO stubs required for Immortals. As far as skill goes - The things you listed - Making WS, Going 10-0, ect…According to SDS that’s less than 1% of player base so the “GeT GoOd” argument is absurd. There should be a way to earn every card without either spending cash or flipping cards for hours upon hours. It’s a baseball game, We should be playing baseball.

The problem with that is Maddux fresh out of TA isn’t great. You’re gonna take some bashings until you get him to that P5 super control level…But once you get him there he’s like having the dotting ability of O’Day but for a whole game.

I believe 95% of the players sit on high fastballs 100% of the time. And most people have become VERY good at hitting them. With outlier being pretty rare, That’s making it that much easier to hit them…So don’t throw high fastballs.

I have found that control is the key this year. Use accurate pitchers & upgrade them with even more control. Dotting on the black is how you pitch effectively this year. Get a Greg Maddux & Andy Pettite in your rotation ASAP & p5 them and choose control diamond upgrade….Happy dotting!

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN It’s an unnecessary annoyance. 10 seconds EVERY time you have to restart & some of these moments drag on and on.

I enjoy Showdown…Until I lose a round late then EFF Showdown.

On moments when you select restart it should immediately put you back in the moment. The two presentation screens we have to skip EACH AND EVERY TIME need to be removed. This should be a simple fix & a no brainer.

Gooze makes an excellent point here. I feel like anytime anything in any sports game has something tough about facing it, People just immediately call it “glitchy” even though there’s nothing wrong with it. But the word infers that there’s something broken that makes it an unfair advantage even though it’s probably just a really good player. ‍️

600 seems to be when I run into the cheaters. It’s like the second I cross over, I’m giving up 14 consecutive hits in a row (Has happened three times!).

I use Hader. He’s fine…Sometimes I get outs, Sometimes I get shelled. Doesn’t seem OP to me.

@Reesh77_PSN I had Pudge to a 98 arm & 99 pop time and while I usually get the out if I pitch out, It’s 50/50 on normal pitches. There definitely needs a tweaking on the backside.

I would absolutely welcome Cobb back to my lineup! The GOAT leadoff hitter in DD history! One of the most complete cards ever.

@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL I’ve always thought that a pitch out & subsequent good throw should equal an automatic out. Kind of like when you used to guess your opponent’s play on Tecmo Bowl.
