I kinda agree with this. When the patch came in for offline only I was early on everything. Since the new patch to add it online, offline seems to have slowed down. Its weird.

Judge has more home runs this year than Gallo has hits. It seems pretty easy to give him away for a minor leaguer.

True but COVID-19 was everywhere when they released the game. Why do we need changes when the game was perfect when it was released? I really feel like I blew $100 for nothing this year. I went from happy with the gameplay to super frustrated. I don’t want to learn a new hitting engine every week. Is that fair enough?

I'm out LOL I'm a father and I'm 65. I have been playing the show since it was 989 Sports. I think it was just called MLB at the time. Had every issue since it was The Show in 06. The video game just keeps me in the sport I have loved my whole life.

Since early release, I have thought that hitting was decent. Not great but not that bad either (maybe except for the outer PCI)
I plugged away at all of the offline stuff mostly on AS and have hit well enough to win most of my games.

Enter Patch 04. This patch enabled the PS5 to run on 120hz offline only. Since I have the same gaming monitor as raesOne and I am not IT savvy. I asked him for help setting up my monitor to take advantage of this new Patch with the correct settings. He was very patient with me (I'm old) until I got everything set up right. I must say that the hitting after that Patch was the best it has ever been (including 16 & 17) I would swing and be early on 100-102 fastballs but overall it was just fantastic.......Fast Forward a few days....

Enter Patch 05. This was to integrate 120hz into online play for the PS5. Now like I said in my heading "Just My Take" but I think hitting is now worse offline than when the game was released. I can't even get late is great. I think this type of stuff is what frustrates so many people and prompts them to post rag posts on SDS. Do I like the game now? Not as much as I did last week. Seems like every time they fix or try to fix something it breaks the game a little more. It is what it is though and I'll keep plugging away. Can we go back to Patch 4? LOL

I know he is very fast but be honest, who’s team would he make? He wouldn’t even make my bench. He is one of those cards that some people can hit with and some people can’t. I’m one of the cants. Lol Now if I was good enough to earn Sale then I would say YEAH BABY
