If Don Mattingly is the boss I might not sleep once released until he is on my squad.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the chase is actually representing what we will be doing once the card is released. I wouldnt be shocked if the card is unobtainable on day one. Instead we can begin our chase of this next BIG card. If Signature Series or any other set has a collection greater than cards available people may riot. Just an idea.

I really hope it is Barry Bonds or Alex Rodriguez though.

Depends on what you have/haven't done.

3rd inning showdown 75 stars
3rd inning conquest 30 stars
Mothers day conquest 15 stars
Rookie Dawson moments 20 stars
Breakout Keith Hernandez 20 stars
Players League Blake Snell collection (will cost stubs) 20 stars.
Collect 10 breakout cards 20 stars.
Win 10 ranked games 15 stars
Win 10 online games (BR, events, Ranked) 15 stars
Tally innings with breakout stars 15 stars
Tally hits with breakout Keith Hernandez 10 stars
Tally 5 RBI with rookie dawson 10 stars.

So hypothetically if you haven't done any of those, that's 285 stars, which would be enough to get to 300 (If I did my math right)

I believe that the online wins count towards the 4th inning program so that's less stars attainable.

I didn't play enough ranked games during the second inning to do the win 10 ranked thing 15 stars thing, but it's filled up now, so it still counts even if another program starts.

This is correct. Wins can count for multiple inning programs at once.

I think we may see stat grinds with prior fotf and future stars which can be done offline.

I am right there with them speculating. I just hope we arent all let down this afternoon around noon pacific time.

I noticed playing at shibe that it references the streak at 56. Chasing the streak would make sense.

It won't be either of them. The steroid cloud hovers strong over these two. Plus Bonds won't give up his likeness rights.

Bonds has yet to give up his likeness rights. It is easy to do that when you are making millions of dollars playing. I just hope SDS sweetened the pot and made an offer to good to resist.

Mantle, Trout, Griffey. Left to Right with Soto pinch hit power hitter and Cobb pinch runner. Babe at first, Mookie at second. A lot of good outfielders as usual. Would love a DH spot.

I think a fair comp for the awful servers would be 8 choice packs for the pre release 42 cards. This will allow pre orders to sell off for 10k in stubs for the 2 duplicates assuming they kept them, 5k for non pre orders, as all cards will go to QS value. It will also allow anyone who chooses to lock in the collection, to obtain 50,000 XP.

Looks like future stars will be Affinity Stage 2.

On their twitter page they stated 30+ future stars will be revealed today and released Friday. I cant imagine them releasing these plus different affinity cards all in one day.

If the first round of TA's were 87-89 are we going to get even better cards?

A team like my woeful Marlins got an 87 Brian Anderson, does that mean I sould expect something like an 88 or 89 JJ Bleday?

That makes little sense, while Bleday is a good prospect, no way should he have a card better than all other Marlins cards.

Prospects are suspects until they produce

I totally agree. I really hope I am wrong as I would prefer a combination of flashbacks and legends and an additional collection reward for collecting 15 cards of the different types.

Any thoughts on if Donnie Baseball is still in the game??

I lost my first two attempts going in final with 7 and 8 runs. Third attempt I beat by skipping directly to the end and scoring the 16th run with 2 outs remaining. Sometimes it helps being patient when you have common and bronze batters. With diamonds you tend to get over aggressive as you want every swing to be a home run.
