For Xbox I had a physical copy I returned to the store I pre-ordered from. No trouble. Full Refund. Used the money to buy a PS5 controller. PS5 controller hasn't crashed once since I got it this week. lol

This launch was by for the worst. I have seen a lot of game launches, and that's saying something after watching my sons with a game called World of Warcraft for years... That being said. Update to my 1st ever post from the other day on here along with Feedback. See below.

UPDATE/Follow Up - I finally have all my accounts linked (Thanks to reddit, and not MLB. Let that sink in. I should have been able to come here and get a resolution.), but that still didn't make me open my Xbox copy of MLB 21. In fact, today I returned it. I am resending my previous post on waiting for your response via e-mail. I waited long enough. This is not the product I paid for, and if it wasn't such a hassle for returning the digital deluxe PS edition, and my sons begging me not to return both, I would return it too if it was just myself after the past 4-5 days. Luckily for you, one of my sons wants to still play this game very badly.

I would rather not. At this point I'd rather go back to MLB 20 for my RTTS that I can't carry over to MLB 21. People paid you a lot of money expecting a better product than what you have produced so far. Which brings me to the feedback part.

FEEDBACK

1st, You didn't need to make RTTS need online. That was, and is a huge mistake. Why break one of your staple features? You have the tools to make the game great in EVERY WAY. You have the corner on the baseball market of video games. Let's be honest here. You could have made the diamond dynasty created player singular as I experienced the past few days and progress as it currently is without it being tied to RTTS. That would be fine, and make sense to what you had before. That was a good change in instead of progressing every position individually, but combining it with RTTS... I just don't get that. I think the other fans of you product has said more than enough negative feedback already on that.

You can still fix that too. Well, that's another big reason I returned the Xbox copy I thankfully didn't open yet as I said before.

RTTS should have still allowed to carry over previous MLB RTTS saves. Huge reason why I will be playing MLB 20 RTTS instead. I don't want to start over, and if my son wants to on this current installment fine. I already said I would keep the PS copy for my son. However, you are losing business. I wanted two copies to play with my kids online when we are apart. Not worth it at this time. Sorry if you don't like that, but you can do better on this product.

Also, my son was playing yesterday, and today experiencing MULTIPLE games completed, and then not being counted. For online this should not happen. You have had MLB online gaming since what... MLB 17? So 4th generation of your product online features are now broken from before when it always worked give or take a few years. I admit I have every MLB game you ever made before, and never had a previous online game not count when tracked. NOT ONE. In the last 24 hours, 7 games have expected an error. 7. 7 versus 0 for all the previous installments. Let that sink in.

I have always suggested your games in the past, but this year. If you can't fix RTTS to be offline without any need for online access, allow carry over saves like RTTS should, and if I keep seeing my son rage quit because of unexpected errors. I will simply uninstall MLB 21 from my PS console. I will also no longer be able to suggest your product(s) in the future until the product is fixed, and I am sure its the best product of what I am looking for in the future.

Your user interface is not user friendly. My sons don't even realize there were timed missions, etc. They are the techy ones here. Not me. I navigate better I guess because I dealt with dreaded user interfaces likes Windows ME...LOL You need to make the banner page when you log into online (DD) always show the timed events/missions/quests/etc. to ensure everyone gets to take a crack at them if they want. The previous MLB interface was much easier according to my kids. FYI

Multiple times the runner beats the throw at first. OUT Really??? Fix that.

Why is there no instant reply in games? You missed another great feature.

Speaking of features. Online leagues. Why can't you add a feature to have career stats tracked in them? Would be neat addition to that, and allowing it to use your created player.

Created player once upgraded/perks added. Why can't the card level up like the other cards. WHY can't we still see the true stats on created players without having to practically start a game? Thought that would be fixed.

Also, when you look at your player perks it resets some of the appearance options???

Also, son says pitching sometimes doesn't suggest a location when the view changes? I see that's already been listed, but just adding so those people know you are not alone.

I don't want to see you throwing stubs at, or some shiny card to make me happy, but in the spirit of lightening the mood (Yes this a freaking long read, but hang in there. Not like the servers will be up after school gets out anyway I fear...) If you are going to throw a card at me... I would love to see the 1992 Topps Stadium Club Cards make in the game. Heck, the entire set. Would be so cool to see an entire set in game (I can dream can't I?). If not how about just the entire 1992 Topps Stadium Club Atlanta Braves? Since you are getting more 90s players. Would be neat to see an entire Topps set, or just a team set to collect in moments. Just saying as a old timey wimey fan.

As a baseball fan... A card collector... I can't stress this enough... Your game is turning into how Upper Deck ran itself as a business in baseball. As in if you don't do what's right your product's consumers/target market/etc., and continue to forget the fan base... You are gonna lose more than just 60 bucks today.

If you do really try to buy back my love for this game, I would really love a Atlanta Dave Justice in game. You know a 90/91 Topps, or 95 when he finally got us Braves fan a World Series... If you give me Yankees Post Season Justice... I will be deeply bitter sweet about it... Sorry Yankee fans. I am sure you'll get your Derek Jeter, and many other great Yanks, soon enough long before I ever see a old man Justice in his prime on here... LOL

I am really sorry to be a negative Natty in here, but on a positive note the game looks beautiful. Except the arm clipping in the at bats and the knee savers not looking right in replays/batters coming up. You really need to fix that. Distracts from the amazing visuals that makes your MLB games great.

So, why is it my pitching staff has energy loss, but not the other teams? Didn't love seeing Rob Dibble 4 straight games at full strength... The mini seasons are a great addition. It needs depth/expanding. Why not see stats, leaders, etc. during and at the end of the season before I start a new one? This year has been lacking depth in many areas (Looking at you announcers/missing audios that have been there for years.).

Also, add some playoff atmosphere in the mini seasons please like we see in RTTS/MTO.

Thanks to Reddit I was able to get my stuff back by un-linking my account from TheShow.com account. Sad. I guess that copy on Xbox is going back. Let me know when I can re-link my account. Since your e-mail said 5 business days to get back. I will give you 5 business days to fix it and let me know via e-mail. If not received Next Friday at 7am my time I am taking my Xbox copy for refund. Thankfully I haven't opened my Xbox copy yet.

I recall being back on roughly 1hr 45minutes after. I would suggest 2 hours and take a break, clean up, eat, visit family and friends... lol

Oh, and my favorite Dc's during pack opening forcing me to take cards I NEVER chose. Looking at you Philly jersey from NL East Team affinity that I guess I will now have 2 of forever.

I paid to escape the realty of Hell on Earth when I play this game. Not pay you to virtually force me to experience Hell here too. I know you have made great games before. How about we go back to that, fix the wrongs above I listed along with everyone else's issues in game, and go from there. Just own you messed up, fix it, and show us you learned from the mistakes by listening to us and use that information to restore trust with us moving forward in your product. Don't become another Madden-esq Class action lawsuit.

Your logic here is two wrongs make a right? Stamina needs fixed too. I assume it has been but who knows?

Universal DH is the rule in MLB. It should be the rule in MLBTS. It would also open up a lot of bat only cards that rarely get used now.

I don't even like the DH rule, but the game should reflect the rule. Which in DD has never been right for years now.

Logos not showing up in game. Also, in game the batter info is sometimes a blank/white card. Even blank on the career/game stat lines.

The fan animations are sometimes off (IE saw an entire row of the same face with only different hair??? Fans floating, and fans walking through objects. Best is when they are all exactly in sync. That's creepy, but funny.).

My created player isn't 2 way, but after he PH he was allowed to pitch (WAS like that Rizzo card last year though... lol)?????

Missing XP

Missing stubs from marketplace.

Posted listings in the marketplace disappeared this morning, then showed up, and then gone again.

The program..... I think there is enough posts on that already.

On a positive; the animations do look very smooth, and improved on the field. When the game works (The hitting/pitching doesn't feel like a slot machine.) it's fun.

Really like the idea of mini seasons, but want to see teams more around the same overall (Like 2 below the team you enter, 3 around the same overall, and the other 2 above. It's strange to have all these cards in game, and yet I face the same players on these mini season teams.).

Anyone else seeing Ken Doll hands on the people on the field? These graphical errors are distracting. Love how players arms are in their chests at the plate also... ugh.

I have posted a few times before. In light of the hick ups along this year's installment. I Hope SDS reads this with you (The Community). The game has improved since it's launch, but the game can be so much better. Hopefully the next installment will improve those issues.

1st Idea - DD Home Run Derby
Why isn't there a Home Run derby for dynasty cards? This seems like a fun idea for online play. If there isn't enough players then let us chose vs AI then. Could even add this to daily's/events. Also, when doing a Home Run derby moment like we recently just had... It shouldn't be a full game. That was just silly in the All Star Program. Felt like it was a rushed together moment (I hope not lazy coding.). Also, allow created players in any version of Home Run derby, or at least non ranked (Like a casual mode etc.).

2nd Idea - Opponent matching by Controls/Difficulty type
Speaking of online play. I realize after learning the PCI controls etc. How much the game changes playing others. MLB should have players matched on the same control types to balance out games. With the addition of Xbox players this is the time to do it. You added winning 40 rank games to ease playing the hardcore. Why have players who clearly have a unfair advantage using PCI/PINPOINT against players who can't or don't use it? Some players are disabled, missing thumbs etc. Before everyone cites Jim Abbott I want to say the game needs to be fun. NOT a CASINO EA/2K type game. Let hard core gamers get items faster fine, but give casual/disabled gamers a way to reasonably gain cards too. Add an option for the hardcore to vs any type if they dare. Simple fix, and makes the community as a whole play a better pace of this sweet game of baseball.

3rd Idea - It's time to let the card collector in us start carrying our cards over, and there is no reason with today's technology to even let players log into previous years to add cards to the collection. As for the unfair etc. debate. I agree that the current installment of ranked, events, etc. would not allow the previous cards unless they are active in the current installment. For any casual mode (Like say my DD HR Derby Idea) it would be whatever cards they want. This would add so much to this games, and if you dare you could allow them in the market (I am on the fence about that idea... Yet, I know we can code that out.). Not to mention it would allow adding legacy packs if you want to continue picking our pockets of money LOL.

4th Idea - Adding more "lesser known" players.
Come on, I got to believe Sid Bream would let you use his card for a few extra bucks... LOL I think it would be fun if SDS had the community vote 1 player at each position they want to see that isn't in the game. THAT IS ALSO NOT A HALL OF FAMER (How about we call it the The Show Hall of Fame.). You recently gave us David Justice (Thank you so much, and even more for not making him his Yankee card...lol I do hope to see his 91 Topps RoY card for the Braves though WINK WINK.).

5th Idea - RTTS needs to go back to before. There is no reason for the player to be put with DD. RTTS should be a strictly off line mode like before. The DD created player with challenges to unlock perks is perfect. No need to change that part. Except let us select our 5 pitches please.

6th Idea -
Let us make an expansion team on franchise using the editor (Including a Created Stadium!). I feel like this could help reduce the inappropriate content in the vault as well. Clearly don't want to lose the vault. As for the bad content I think the best way to go forward is SDS has to make our uploads be pended until they review them. I won't allow my younger kids to play this game online until we fix this issue. Your hurting your customer base if future generations of baseball fans can't play your game because of the casino cash grabs/inappropriate content floating for days before being removed.

7th Idea - Team collections cards when already completed.
When a team is finally collected and new cards added/remove..... It is annoying to have to keep a list of cards you can't actually collect so you don't accidently exchange/sell/etc. Just allow a reward of 100stubs for each extra card past 40 collected under teams. I want to enjoy the game. Not work like this post... lol

8th Idea - Unique/No Sell cards not being selectable once obtained.
HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS NOT IN THE GAME. FIX THIS. If a card is unique/no sell then make sure we can't pick it up twice from packs (If it's a duplicate reward have it convert to stubs automatically.). Also, these type of cards should auto collect to anything they are a part of. You can notify us when they complete something.

9th Idea - Fix the player arms clipping at at bats, fielding glitches, etc.
We all know the technology is here. It's time SDS to up your game. MLB THE SHOW 21 could have been the Flagship game for the new consoles. YOU DROPPED THE BALL. I dare you to do better. I am not buying next year if it's a MADDEN like Recycle.

10th Idea - Add coaching staff cards PLEASE!
I think we can all agree the generic coaching staff seen during games can go. I mean you have unique Umpires... Come on. Again, I DARE you to do better SDS. The only stat a coach card should ever add is DISC for hitting, and for pitching DUR. Just to add a little incentive. If you are gonna go wider on stat boost... Don't make it specific just a +1 +2 +3 all only. Only +3 for legend coach cards of WS winners. During season the coaches with winning records get +2, and the ones below +1. If a coach is below .400 then 0. Your welcome.

I hope you (The Community) will rally behind me. Maybe they won't give us all this in MLB The Show 21 (They should.), but maybe next year.
