@JDHalfrack this is what I’ve seen. There was a time not long ago when if one of these situations popped up, they’d make sure they got it right, would address it directly, apologize, and do what they could to make it right with their customers.

Now, they send these guys out to take the arrows and don’t address the issue.

It’s basic customer service. If you receive money for a product that is faulty, you apologize to your customers, fix the problem, and make it right for them. SDS used to do that really well. Now, they barely mention it and there is no “We apologize for the issues…” That’s where you start in a situation like this.

There was a time when something like this happened and SDS cared. They’d work quickly on a fix and compensate their customers impacted by their faulty product.

The Switch lockout for a second year in a row with not even a “[censored] folks, our bad.” was a clear demonstration that this isn’t the company it once was. It probably is more profitable so Sonys shareholders are happier.

But the soul of SDS isn’t there anymore. This happened before. But when it did, they did a lot more than just send @Victor_SDS_MLBTS out to the forums and @Manu__SDS_MLBTS to Reddit to absorb the arrows. They put Ramone and Tips on a stream, told us what was wrong, genuinely apologized, and made it right. That era is long gone.

@LilLuer03 while I understand the frustration, suing for $90 is going to end in a net loss for you

@Victor_SDS_MLBTS I just want to compliment you guys on how well you’re doing selling a functioning game and doing actually tangible things to show your customers you value our business.

Hoping to see some Shohei. Will my luck be that good?

@Victor_SDS does it look like that will be this week? I like having Opening Day on the TV and playing a little Show during.

At this point I guess we wait for the next update.

Talk to us @Manu__SDS_MLBTS. Tell us why we can’t use a product we purchased from you. At least tell us something.

Did the update make it worse? I used to be able to at least occupy the spaces on a conquest map that didn’t need to be won in a game. Now I can’t even open the maps

@Hey_zeus07 they’ve definitely been told no updates on this which is baffling. It’s terrible customer service.

@x814xmafia the way to be good about this is to be over the top. They’ve done it once before. Get the average everyone’s through TA and hand out vouchers for everyone on Switch. Get the average everyone is through the program and hand out that much XP. Toss like a 50 bundle and some headliners to look like they care. In reality, it will be nothing or a small amount of stubs. Probably nothing.

@tdsailum41 and don’t worry. In exchange for their error and us falling behind, we will get nothing and be expected to like it

@JLittle28 we will get no update and no compensation when it’s fixed eventually.

@ace_hardlight28 Chase 1 and 2 last year were the same way.

@BigXMark weekend is coming. They don’t care enough about Switch players to actually work on the weekend

At least with the weekend coming, we know to not be expect anything until Tuesday at the earliest

I guess I don’t know why SDS is hiding from this. Other than this forum, they’ve said nothing publicly about it. Maybe MLB AM cares?
